I've seen many of these videos. They make sense. Then I read authors who are considered to be the greatest, open a random Murakami page and am bombarded with filter words... And it diesn't take away from the experience. Cormac McCarthy uses tools which are considered bad. Rules like these are always helpful, but sometimes they hinder me from finding my voice, my style because the way it is it sounds good...

I am assuming that the term used here, "omnishent" is how we in Australia pronounce "omniscient" (on-nis-cient)
