Her being blacklisted in the US was something to do with her record company having a fall out with a lot of music big wigs in the US who essentially said they wont play any of their new artists, and Anastacia was one of them unfortunately. But the rest of the world embraced her. She has sold like 40 million albums or something in Europe and Australia
