Majestic Carp - Saint Jeanvrin

Saint Jeanvrin, also known as Castle Lake, is one of the most beautiful private lakes in France, covering around 42 acres. If you like breathtaking scenery, wild carp and big water, then Saint Jeanvrin is for you.
Fashioned in the 11th century by the monks of the nearby abbey. Over the centuries, it has been used mainly for fish farming and irrigation of the surrounding farmland.
Nearly 500 carp populate the lake, with an average weight of over 25 lbs and a record weight of 66 lbs.
