Hey man! Just found your channel a few weeks ago, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with your content. Great production quality, beautiful b-roll, solid pacing, and informative. I wish there were more fpv content creators doing what you're doing. Keep it up!

Excellent video as always, I love the in depth testing and amount of data. These do look pretty awesome, as someone ever paranoid about signal strength and quality, they'd certainly be worth considering.

Iterating results, I always assumed at least better quality with matek and looks it’s the choice as well for longer range on larger builds. The size difference sure does matter on tighter/smaller builds. Great video!

The extra sensitivity isn't translating into higher LQ for the most part so I wonder how much it actually matters for performance. The SNR is remaining the same because it's just the same signal amplified.

I crashed my 3inch and the RX stopped communicating with the TX....It's not a loose connection or solder point issue. The rx simply "gave way".... I'm going to try re-flashing both points with the latest ELRS firmware to see if that resolves the problem.....Any suggestions? Oh btw, it's a R9mm/R9m combo.

Great review! I have been using the EP2s in my Quad builds. Just got a matek one for my Nano Drak build. Good to know they perform a bit better. Cheers

I understand the 'D' in the name of the R24-D stands for diversity. It has two antennae and diversity circuitry so install the antenna at right angles to each other for best reception.I have two of these receivers in quads and can confirm that they work very well in a medium density forest environment.

Ordered the diversity matek and I'm going to put it in my skylite 3.5. Excited to see how the range compares to the radiomaster ep currently installed.

I cannot update my Matek R24D firmware in ExpressLRS configurator
    "FC Found in COM 6
    Connecting......"
    Then build error
I also tried using expresslrs webflasher
Cannot detect RX Target, blindly flashing
I kept trying using Speedybee App
    Compilation failed
    Do you have any sugesstion?
    I really need your help
    Thanks

Idk man, I'm building my first plane soon and I'm having a hard time choosing between a matek wing fc and a nice big beefy elrs receiver with fat antennas, or something else like an elrs pwm receiver... both are big and defs have their place in the hobby, and so do the smaller receivers.

Hello, I thought the PA on the Matek was only for telemetry.

    • @ATXAirborne
      @ATXAirborne 2 роки тому +2

There is a PA for the telemetry radio and a LNA for the receiver circuit. Both chips amplify the respective signals.

Wors test i ever see. Diferent antennas, diferent setups, diferent position of receiwer, diferent positions of antennas. You make a test of your setups sigal strenght. For recever test you have tu use same drone, same position of antenna, same antena, same position of receiver.
