Im actually rewatching this because I need to copy the front L plate mount you have here, very good method. I dont want to put it on forks or block airflow to the engine so thanks! 🙂👍
It really is awful stock, 35W yellow bulb. I replaced mine with a blue white, I tried an LED (which should have imitated the dip and high beam) the one I got was supposed to work with the fitting but it did not. If you want to ride at night at all on this bike, the stock bulb is awful though. EDIT: The one more important thing I would say about this bike, replace the tyres. The stock hard nylon tyres (tubed in my case with the Euro 4 version) are horrendous on UK roads in any kind of wet. I paid out for some Metzeler's and I would say they've definitely saved me from some accidents
I appreciate the advice about making the lights better for night. I've not had to use mine on roads I was unfamiliar with at night, but I would like better lighting if I ever need to
Glad it was some use. You see my resistance to LED bulbs. Not always plain sailing. I would definitely look to fitting some LED projectors for county lane work.
@@kevkfz5226 I was just watching this video which gives a really good explanation why you shouldn't use LED replacements too ua-cam.com/video/2z5A-COlDPk/v-deo.html
Ive never tried. Its possible but I think the GN125 has the same Bosch prefocus 35w bulb, which is rubbish. I suspect the metal Reflector and glass lens are much supperior to the ZSB items. The more i mess with headlights the more i think adding additional lights via the switch is the best option. Depends on what sort of riding you do.
@@kevkfz5226 I might just give up looking for an alternative headlight as a replacement. Just can't find one without some rewiring of cables. I've resorted to using two Cat Eye bicycle headlights attached on either side where the indicators are, facing downward. It works and they're rechargeable! Odd thing to have to do on a motorbike though..

Hi Kev. Could you replace these headlights with one from a Suzuki GN 125?
