Great show, brother. Keep up the great work.
Love your sense of humor Tom. You are always so funny. Thx man, you made my day. ❤
The first model fish in the sea omg, incredible! I love all your videos, very instructive!
Great vid as usual. I'm surprised they didn't make a biopic yet on her. Also drinking all this mercury only to end up living until 100 is crazy.
Fascinating history of my home town. Thanks
Love the trudeau reference haha! Enjoy watching from Canada.
Soo much information shared, stella channel. You're very entertaining. Thanks from UK
Always well presented and entertaining history of Manhattan!
I always sense kind of … neurotic vibe here,… but I’ve realize it’s a part of the charm and eventually missing it -)
Hey Tom! What's up? Another awesome tour as always!!! So sick story as well!!!
As always, awesome!
TOM! How long did it take to carve and sculpt all that stuff?! I mean, jeez. Early 1900s musta been a flurry of chisels, picks and granite dust.. Is there a more laborious art form? Super glad we have them though. Most of us take them for granite. Sorry couldn't resist. 🗽
I grew up in NYC, and I've always believed that cramming so many people into a city, especially NYC, can drive anyone crazy. Actually, I know a few people who still live there and have lost their minds.
Tom is so funny 😂😂
Fantastic video. How can we set up a tour in December?

I’m from the 80s. No Gram…lol
Vaya Flaco loco! Lo haces bien muy entretenido el contenido. Yo soy El Mundo Paz fuera!
Tom FTW!
Hey yah Tom, @ActionKid just sent me here and I just sub'ed to your channel.
So, vat, Evelyn Nesbit is chop liver ??
so entertaining
Fine young cannibals totally late 80s
You most definitely CAN say racists things now. Look at all the antisemitic rallies!
If she didn't keep a good head on her shoulders she would have ended up in a dumpster
Do you know what I think of Audrey Munson? [falsetto voice] 🎶She drives me crazy🎶
You're the best, Tom.
Tom, I'm so thankful you've done this video. I was completely unaware of Audrey Munson until I started watching your videos, and I find her story to be super interesting. Keep up the great work, and thank you once again!
I read about Audrey recently in "The New Yorkers" by Sam Roberts.
There is still a psychiatric hospital in Ogdensburg, NY today. You can see Canada from the window
Hey Tom, as always fantastic video.
Thank you, a wonderful video. I loved the idea of building the narrative around a person, makes a foreign for me city morehuman
After listening to Tom on Joe Pera’s channel, I’m very curious to hear about the 5 foods he eats.
Ha! Back then it was Rice & Beans, Chicken, Turkey Sandwiches, Egg Sandwiches, and Yogurt. I've since expanded to a few more though!
When was this filmed Tom? I was all over NYC for 7 days. Just got back to Kentucky last Tuesday. It rained all day there Oct 12th. The whole time there we never saw 1 police horse.
was wanting you to say "over here" in the NYC accen, like in your other vids, and you didn't disaapoint 😁11:02
Hey Tom, do more dark side your videos if you can bc those were cool. Especially during this month too it would go great!
Her story was lost in history..ironic her face and body in beautiful sculpted art form is all over NYC.. Thank You Tom. You have been so informative on all the forgotten NYC history. You are a smart rascal. 👨🏻🎓
Does anyone else think Tom looks & sounds exactly like Penn Badgley??
you are the best character i"ve come across in decades. Thank you for existing! xo
It is an interesting story .. to bad her ending 73 years of her life in a mental institution. That is extremely sad.
She even turns up in the year of her death in that Farrelly film, Kingpin ;)
Audrey could of done the macarena! HAHA
I used to know a drag queen named Bertha Vanation.
OMG, WHAT A VIDEO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great video, thanks Tom!
Thanks Tom for another fascinating trip down New York City history....keep the videos coming
A new video? Hell yea let’s go
Like the Flip Phone!!!
Ty Tom too cool so not crude😊
Thank you Tom. Always an enjoyable watch.
Fresh cut 💯
I've been aware of her statutes but never knew there was a real person standing behind them. Wow, what a story! Thanks alot. Another great story behind this wonderful city.
Statutes? Isn't that a legal term? Instead of a legislative body we have a femme fatale body. ( just ask Dr. Wilkins). Things got hot and heavy for him after he killed his wife, but not in the way he had envisioned. lol ( I know it's a typo but I thought it was fun and couldn't resist:-) 🧚♀
OK, I got confused for a moment. I googled and Audrey was born in Rochester, NY, so technically (and I hate to split hairs, honestly), she moved to NYC from Rochester. At first I thought she was born outside of NY state.
If it's on the internet, it's true!
eating while watching this
Hey Tom! I will always remember the three most important things about NY city. Consolidation, the grid system of roads and Howwwwsten St. !! I ❤ NY
Fun Fact! If ever in Madison, WI, there is a Hilton hotel downtown that names their restaurant after Audrey and information in the elevators describing her as the first Supermodel.
Dude you make great video. I loved this one as I never knew she was on soo many art statues. Statues were the billboards of those years, sad today we barely notice them.
Superbe video and I
Love your humor along the way when watching your videos.
So was this woman institutionalized for 65 years? Crazy considering how we just throw people away on the street like trash today. Shall we acknowledge Tom's incredible research on this subject? Amazing!
Another brilliant video. I have been in NYC for decades and I ALWAYS learn from Tom.
The Morrigana!
Hey Tom
There's a fine line between genius and insanity. We may all end up in a "nut house" one day if things keep on the way they are going. At least we have Tom and his "sick" jokes to momentarily distract us from all of the madness. lol 🧚♀
back then? I've caughten STD's in Penn Station recently
