Really cool idea. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty nice work and design, Rob! It seems to work great! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Cant have too many clamps. Good video! Too bad my bandsaw table is aluminum. Be good for the table saw though.
Thank you for your comment. I'm a beginner at woodworking and have been thinking of getting a band saw.... I would have never thought about the table being aluminum! Thanks again. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷
Too bad your table is aluminum, but the concept is good. You could make this without the magnet and long enough to reach from the blade to the back edge of your table, so you can clamp it on... I'd still use the nonskid pad. 💖🌞🌵😷
1:52 I couldn't find the link to the single points. Please add it here too! Thanks! 💖🌞🌵😷
It's OK, Rob. But you can stop cutting at any point on a bandsaw easily enough by hand.
Might be a more useful concept to build as a resawing guide, held by the magnet to the table.
Nice, clear video as always.
Yes, you are right, a stop isn't essential. But let's say you need to make a hundred or even twenty of the same cut. You'll have to admit that having a stop would be handy! 💖🌞🌵😷
