Frank the Master Stone Mason and his Arch

While on Quadra Island I met Frank, a master stone mason who lost his tongue to throat cancer. Along with Nick, I helped Frank collect rocks off the beach for his projects. He chose his rocks carefully and had a joke of putting a marble down after he collected rocks. If he collected enough rocks, he'd lose all his marbles.
Frank showed me some of his builds and projects, and his creations were stunning. He talked to me about old jobs he was hired on including Sonora resort. My favourite project of his however was the arch he built for his dying friend. It was beautiful.
