Arks oceans have been massively improved in my opinion.
It's not barren anymore. Alot of detail went into the ocean when the fog Is off.
And I'm actually glad we can't see far into the ocean. That's realistic since we don't have that extra sheet of... Skin? over our eyes like fish and certain reptiles.
What i do wish tho is that the Scuba goggles gave you that lack of vision back. Even with it on you cant see far
I love the terror bird. Great for caves and the flaps is hilarious and useful.
They are indeed super hilarious:))
Thank you. These dino's often get forgotten and they are all VERY useful. Mega's are very very useful. Another useful mount for travel is the Procoptodon and Beezeulbufo. That jump is very useful. Now.. another useful tip for the Icthy is that you don't have to immediately harvest the corpse. Have the Icthy kill the dodo or compy, then drag the corpse to where you are taming and only harvest it when you are ready to use the Prime meat. Prime meat spoils quickly, so this is a way to keep the meat available for a longer period of time. Another VERY useful creature is the Pulmonoscorpius. It's very easy to knock out and tame, and it's attack inflicts torpor over 10 seconds. The best way to use this is to get a creature in a cage, and hit it once.. then wait 10 seconds and hit it again. Saves you loads of tranq ammo, and can be used for high torpor/low health enemies, like the Dire Bear. They deal 3X torpor over 10 seconds. So if you hit for 20, they deal 60 of that as torpor damage over 10 seconds. Once u get their melee high enough, you can easily knock out trapped dino's with little to no risk to you or your tame. One hit.. wait 10 seconds. Hit again. 300 damage = 900 torpor. Just don't spam attacks.
Nice tip for taming the Dire bear! I considered the procoptodon and the beelzebufo for the video, but I've noticed they have a lot of fans, at least in the comment section of my videos. 👍
1200% melee horse will 1kick knock out rexes ;)
Great video, man! Liked and subscribed
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just to add regarding the Ichthyornis, you can use its ability to get it deliver you a buffed fish corpse to make taming an otter much easier and just better.
Good tip!
Bronto , berrys for days .... 20 min with any other berry gathering mount = walking in a circle for 2 min with a Bronto . A must have for serious health brew production .
True. Bronto + industrial cooker 💯💯💯
Brontos are faster but I prefer stegos cause you can carry them with rhynio for much easier transport
Dude idk I get an insane amount of berries from my megatherium. My melle is 1200 right now on my line and I can go out for 2 mints and fill their entire inventory
Great vid, I would probably put pelagornis on the list tho, I always tame them on the island, an argy to kill the Penguins and the pelagornis to eat their corpses after and you can get a surprising amount of organic polymer that is otherwise a tedious grind.
Thanks, man!
Commenting for the algo keep it up man! Your going to blow up!
Thanks, man! Really appreciate the help!😁
Always found Chalicotherium to be one of my favorite and most ignored. They at high levels can hit both directly and in ranged very high. Got good hp. Can setup on turret for defense. And, their ranged attack, because of how it bounces, can hit targets multiple times and clear swarms of targets. Versatile, deadly, and decent gatherer as well.
Chalicowtheriums are obviously the best animals in the game. Tame perfectly with beer right at the start, super versatile, hits like a dumptruck, has more knockback than a trike and enough HP and Damage to drop alpha's. They are just hilarious, and super cute as babies when they sit on their hind legs. The only downside is their relatively slow speed.
We have great names like: Charlize Therium, KellyCowTherium, KingCow. The options are endless :D
Amazing tame if you can get fast to bear
Another great video
Thanks, bro! I'm glad you enjoy them!
YOU CAN GO TO MANY PLACES WITH THE DUNKJLEUSTEUS (one Island) XD (the herbivore Island) where the trees spawn very close to the Ocean and one bite gives you like 300 Wood and 100 thatch kekw
Good tip for gathering wood if you play ocean base👌
Hahahah you actually did a Video because i said Dunkleusteus is the best Iron/Stone gatherer xD nice work :D
I play as aquaman. The ocean is amazingly rich, equally dangerous, but it can be very rewarding to conquer
True
Ive been playing ark since 2015 and never knew the megaloceros was so good. The bleed attack and large aoe is so good. Plus the speed and abilty to shoot bows off his back
They are surprisingly good in pvp:)))
That last part of the video got me dude 😂😂😂😂
Gave my best for that ending:))
i always tame a Dire Bear on AB and Gen 1 since no Argys, fast mount that can hold its own in a fight
Yeah, he's got super good damage
DONT FORGET ABOUT THE DUNK GO ON LAND AND BEAT UP ROCKS XD
idea: what dino to use in what cave best/easyest to get to best/hardest to get. what cave what fitts into and so on. aint easy taking on the icecave on foot as an example :P
I've already done a cave guide for ASA. You might want to check it out 😉
@@SpartacusSurvives ait, thank you, will do
Ichthyornis is actually bug on ASA and cant get golden glow fish bodies, so you cant get prime fish, normal prime can still be obtained
That's very unfortunate. Hope they fix it soon.😶
ótimo tutorial,já sou inscrito no seu canal e amei!!! Vou aderir ideias no meu canal para futuros vídeos se voce autorizar s2
Hey man! Sry, but I don't speak Spanish. 😅
@@SpartacusSurvives ohh Sorry my friend ;;--;;
Daedon is a great rider for caves and taming.
Indeed, very useful.
I think another underuse creature was te Plesiosaurus, its like a small mosa because can have a platform but no body tame it
Yes, it is. That speed is amazing, not gonna lie. Very good if you want to gather resources underwater over great distances. 👍
Also a good battle mount for the ocean, they hit harder than a basilo but have less HP and are WAY faster
Icthyornis are hard to tame. I usually kill them before knocking them out.
I recommend avoiding head shots.
Yes, avoiding headshots and timing your shots is very important.
Microraptor, and Pegomastax are really underrated in PVP.
I can see why. I don't play PvP tough :))
Microraptor op in pvp
I love the Dire bear❤
Same once ps5 drops I'm gonna make an army of them
Amazing mount!
@@Rhec22so do I! Wanna see how far I can push them bow that dinos can have better stats.
If arks oceans added much more metal, organic polly plants, black pearl's, wood, and maybe MAYBE element, more loot, tames, and a true ecosystems in the ocean.
Then the oceans might be good
Yeah, more collectables would make a big difference, but for me, the most annoying thing is the darkness and fogginess, as well as the dumb seaweed that can not be collected and is there just to obstruct your vision.
@SpartacusSurvives maybe the seaweed is a food source for herbos like ark additions,
Scuba googles remove most fog and maybe even armored diving sets, weapons to be used underwater. More building parts like a water vacuum pump to clear out water but needs power.
Hell most stuff from the ark mod "the sunken world" I would add
If you haven't seen it I would recommend checking it out.
@@udamthewaster9454 I know the project. Very ambitious.
After ASA got released me and my friend found a lvl 120 moschops with 2 babies we started killing it to claim the babies but it was a tough fight cause it did fight back and we just started so we were underpowered, in the end we did it! Though we died few times 😂
Indeed, moschops babies sound much more appealing than having to get rare flowers for those guys:))
Rare flowers are far more common now than in ASE. For some reason I seem to be able to find them along beaches and etc. Sometimes I get them when gathering berries. I don't know if this is a change in ASA
@MrMagyar5 I've also noticed that they were more abundant in the swamp as well. I was just giving an example of the possible absurd requests a moschops can have, especially in the early game.
@@SpartacusSurvives and this moshchops were beasts! Not only a moschops doesn't need a saddle but we lvled up its damage and it killed dinos left and right
@@bar506 with enough melee they can even defend you from wild rexes, just don't forget to mount them :))
I want to play ark ascended.
On the moose guy you misspelled excellent
At this point, it's not a Spartacus video if there isn't an editing mistake/misspelling in the video.🤣
For dire bear you mentioned melee stats in ASA is different, can you elaborate on this?
I didn't say it's different. I said it's high, which is very good since in ASA melee attacks recive multipliers, like the headshot. Obviously, that is better for creatures with already high melee stats, rather than those at the lower end.
Oh okay
Can’t you just press c to do the same animation and gather heaps of prime meat with the moshchops? I got like 160~ prime meat from an alpha Carno, using the c key (on pve official)
I remember I tested both attacks and got similar results. Only allowing it to harvest on its own got me more resources 🤔
@@SpartacusSurvives i believe one of its attacks is a "regurgitate" so you use one type of attack to gather, after gathering a bunch, use the "Regurgitate" (C I believe) to get your bonus material/meat/berries
What editing software or program do you use for your videos?
I use DaVinci Resolve for video editing, as well as Canva Pro and Photopea for thumbnails and image editing.
Whatever you do. Dont tame and raise 20 thyla for boss fights. Cant take them into boss fights
God, that would be so sad🥲
Somehow my Ryhnogatica has 13k health. thing is a tank. Literally, its freaking massive.
Yeah, they are verryy tanky
@@SpartacusSurvives almost got killed by a giga last night 😂😂😂😂 got stuck under his body and couldnt fly away for a second, took 3 bites and we almost died 😂😂😂
@@santinodellacroce2079 :)))
Dire Bear isn'' really undereappreciated at all, they are super popular.
They've grown in popularity, but I really wanted to showcase how the ASA changes improved them.
@@SpartacusSurvivesit has??
Still say the only reason for the bear is honey...and even then once you get gilli then it makes its one niche ability useless...I know I know...bears get more honey.....but you dont actually need all that extra honey per say...crafting trip.get what you need for crafts and thats it...no need to hold 1000s of honey
Just put shadows on low and ocean its amazing.
Idk, lowering the graphics for better visuals makes no sense to me:))
@@SpartacusSurvives same as using gamma for me, wen i go to ocean i out Shadows on low, at least you have the options in ase no
@andrecontente6370 Yes, you have the option, but in my opinion, it's still a bad design choice. Especially since everything else looks amazing.
Pulmoscorpion is very underrated in ASA. Nice to knock small medium and sometimes large dinos with his attacks.
I like the scorpio
The torpor hit has a cooldown, rendering scorpion pretty useless other than killing them for chitin.
Yes, but I think it's harder to use now since it's harder to trap dinos.
You forgot about the diplodocus... Oh wait nevermind, it is just trash
Please Wildcard, how does a dodo do more damage than it ffs??
Best bus in the game
Trying to convince my tribemates carnotaurus is good. The bleed, has good damage and armor penetration....carno is underrated, not to mention maybe good for cave defense
They are certainly decent. 👌
Well my game won't save anymore. Never played such a buggy, glitched out game as bad as Ascended.
That's sad... :(
