If it makes you feel better; the chorus part of "hi yw y berta, hi yw fy nghartref" translates to "she is the beauty, she is my home" (in the Welsh way it it seen as she is my life, she is my everything, she's the beautiful thing about my life). Although the song isn't that good in my opinion, the song is really sweet and the reasoning on why it was created as the guy that made it was afraid about pollution and is ruining our land of beauty and grace (as in our part of Wales is known for being beautiful, but is starting to be trashed through littering, spoilage and fertiliser sewage, and the increase of drugs). The guy wrote the song about his daughter, to his daughter, to tell her that his everything deserves the beautiful land of our forefathers fought for; and to keep that appreciation and culture alive for the next generation to come as well.
