    • @dmcamp95
      @dmcamp95 9 років тому

      +Alex Knight I can only watch this and be okay with it if Jeff wins the championship next weekend. If he does then this race didn't matter, except for the possibility of going for 6 championships this year instead of 5, but if he doesn't get it, this race is going to go down in history as the race that took away a championship from Gordon. Gordon lead most of homestead, and only backed off at the end to let the 4 chasers have at it otherwise if he'd been in the championship he would have been the champ, neither Harvick or the other two, Logano or Hamlin, had anything for that 24 car. But if Gordon get's the championship next weekend, then I guess I'll be able to move on from what happened at Texas. Watching the video again, I still think Brad made the wrong move. Brad came up from the bottom lane, and put his nose in a tight spot/hole; in which most racers would have known was about to close, except for him, going into turn one as Gordon, as most drivers do, came down to try to take the air off the side of the Jimmie's car as they went into turn 1

      Noonecanknow Miner Seen multiple views of it and there was no debris shed. Besides NASCAR has let a lot worse than that go without a caution multiple times. And they have also thrown cautions for absolutely nothing at all before. They're pathetic, especially watching the fall 2011 Martinsville race were Tony won, there were cars wrecking left and right, and nothing. Gordon has lost so many races because of BS late race cautions and it's sickning.

    • @robr1822
      @robr1822 10 років тому

      wizzjo1nt5 You realize it was more for the other drivers than clint. His speed probably decreased at least 30mph with the wall hit, he's got several cars going around him, nascar doesnt know if Clint's car is under control, they'd rather throw a caution and have reaction time then Clint going 30mph slower and the car break sideways and he gets t-boned by a much faster car.I get your a Gordon fan, and so your gonna complain that Nascar threw the caution while Gordon was leading, and i'll admit i thought it was coincidental that Clint was the one bringing it out. But its for safety, its been done a thousand times, sometimes on softer hits than that. Nascar did not screw Jeff. Its just the way the sport goes sometimes.

    We all know Jeff Gordon would've been the champion that year had NASCAR kept their season long points format.
    Keselowski did nothing wrong in that race. If Bowyer didn't wreck,Gordon wins and he's the championship four. Kevin Harvick still wins Phoenix the next week. Even if Newman put Larson in the wall,Gordon won and Newman would be eliminated. Jeff Gordon dominates Homestead and wins the race and the championship. Harvick would've never got his championship. Because of this championship,Gordon races until 2017. He would get two wins. One in 2016 at Atlanta and another in 2017 at Homestead. Unfortunately,Gordon would be eliminated in the second round in both seasons. He finished 13th in 2016 and he finished 10th in 2017. Chase Elliott would replace Kasey Kahne in 5 in 2017,changing numbers from 5 to 9. William Byron would replace Gordon in the 24 car in 2018. Between mid-2013 and 2016,Gordon had one DNF in 2015 at Atlanta. His other two teammates,Johnson and Junior also had one DNF in 2015. Gordon would end his career with 97 wins and 5 championships. Harvick would never get his championship because of this. He nearly won it in 2020. Unfortunately,he would lose to Chase Elliott. Jeff Gordon is the GOAT,and this is greatest butterfly effect in the 2010s. Kyle Larson could've had Chase Briscoe be removed from the round of 8 in 2022 and Larson would win at Homestead,knocking out Chase Elliott.
    Larson would finish 3rd in the championship points. Will Larson or someone else like Elliott or Tyler Reedrick win the championship this season? Let's hope so.

    Bon au final je trouve que Kevin Harwick fait un très beau champion 2014 (comme l'aurait était Logano). J'aurais voulu voir Newman champion juste pour voir la tête des instances de la Nascar. (Comme il l'a dit lui même le champion est celui qui marque le + de points, pour sa il a était bon, pour ce qui est du panache c'est autre chose, sauf peut être à Miami ou il a fait la course de sa saison) bref décidément je n'aime pas ce format qui n'a aucune logique. Faut dire que cette année pour la F1 ils ont aussi doublé les points sur la dernière course, mais sa n'a rien changé, les courses sont parfaites pour faire la sièste et être en forme pour regarder la Nascar les dimanches soir.

    I'm struggling to understand what Gordon thought was gonna happen when he left that giant hole for Brad in the middle open, lmao.
    It's 2 laps to go to the finish, and the winner automatically advances to the final-4. Of course he's gonna go for the gap, you dolt!

    Brad is awesome, he isn't going to lay down and roll over for anyone, the problem with most of these guys is they don't like to be raced and he races them 100% every lap. Fans have been bitching the last 10 years that drivers are not more aggressive and don't show any emotions then when someone comes along like that they get all pissed!

    • @C-M-E
      @C-M-E 10 років тому +2

      Now that I've seen the whole race, if anybody had warrant to throw punches, Brad certainly did, but I would have gone after that cheatin' b*tch Harvick. Brad had that sucker locked up with a solid pass going on Jimmy. While I respect Gordon as a driver (and that took about ten years!) the spin was all his own. He left the door open, Brad walked through, then Gordo tried to slam his fingers in it. My .02 on that whole deal!

    well, in my opinion, Gordon is at wrong for leaving the gap opened widely and so Brad simply went for it. Keep in mind, i am a big fan of the 24 but you can't fully blame the 2 for going for the gap.
    The whole fight later on was also unnecessary

  • @BombasticLove87
    @BombasticLove87 10 років тому +2

    Commentators said it, Jeff Gordon's mistake was picking the outside line and for messing up the pit stop to be a lap down.

    • @BombasticLove87
      @BombasticLove87 10 років тому +2

      4:03:12 And if you look, Jeff Gordon could have slid up seeing that Brad was there and go three wide, but he came down into Brad.. Jeff knew Brad's nose was there, or his spotter didn't tell him... Jeff was pissed and had every right to be, but I think he was more frustrated at himself than anything. Glad Harvick and Brad are back into it! Phoenix will be CRAZY!

    • @BombasticLove87
      @BombasticLove87 10 років тому +2

      ALSO - when the drivers get damage, Joey and Brad did it, they spin intentionally to get a caution, even though they could technically make it to pit road. Not saying I have a problem with that because I would hate everyone who gets damage to be stuck laps down, but its not as 'bad' as you think.

    • @darrenayotte
      @darrenayotte 6 років тому

      Aerosolarium because as a man you fight your own battles. Gordon was not originally going to fight, but his dumb crew members blocked him from even just talking. Brad is so dumb he didn’t even wanna talk, he was turning his back on him and abut to walk away. Harvick was not letting him walk away, you fight your own battles. Brad was on everyone’s shit list in the playoffs and beyond that year. It’s not hard to see why. Can’t ever forgive him for taking the 2014 championship away.

      @@darrenayotte the point is you dont need fists to fight a battle and in this case there was pretty much no need. Harvick just escalated it for shits and giggles. There was no "battle" to be fought Gordon was the one walking away not Keselowski.

    good race! you have to watch the anthem, the flyover and the start your engines if youre a true fan. the eagle landing on the guys arm is a total plus! rusty, dale and wally are awesome and jeff burton will be around soon we hope. i didnt see darrell waltrip, must be saving him for the championship. also didnt hear a lot of allmendingers this race either. notice near the end of the race all the cars have their blades out and jeff looked like he moved down on keselowski to protect johnson or just himself and jeff was pissed he ended up in 29th. watch every race from 2014 and tell me this isnt a good season!
