You should really watch the DKDKTV explanation vídeo for Baepsae. It's pretty mild blowing how this cute little song is actually a scathing commentary on socio-economic injustices in our society. Even the choreo with its birdlike elements reflects the song. Try hard/Baepsae/ crowtit, a tiny bird which RM emphasizes vs. the big storks that it can't keep up with in a society which tells us that both crowtit and storks have equal opportunity to succeed. 😂💜💜💜

I'm so glad you reacted Baepsae, this is one of my all time favorites! The lyrics are so awesome, I gave a presentation on them in one of my courses last year because of how cool I think they are, and the song was even cited in a Harvard Law Review back in May 2021 (talking about how the song emphasized, "that society often refuses to change - and even perpetuates - inherently unbalanced social structures and yet blames those disadvantaged for not being able to keep up"). I love too though that, even with such an objectively heavy message, they still know how to keep the energy up and add in a bit of fun and lightness with the choreography. They really do make you want to get up and learn how to dance, and they can do so while still talking about the shit that's important to them. I think it's amazing that they're able to find the perfect balance and play around with it, because when you watch them perform this live more seriously, it's incredibly powerful and it draws you in, but in a setting like this, they're just messing around with each other and it makes it so much more fun.
You should react to their MV for “save me.” That entire music video is one take and the song is really well written! The raps are vibes too in it. They also have a behind the scenes for it so you can see how hard they had to work to be in and out of the camera line perfectly

Yes! I'm so glad you finally watched a dance practice video so you can see all the choreo plus the guys usually have fun during some of these as well. Baepsae also has an explanation video if you're interested to find out the deeper meaning to the song.
Please watch the explanation video for this! There's a lot of korean idioms that don't translate very well that are key to understanding the song. And imo this song is very important in understanding who BTS are and where they came from. The song is basically all about how they come from a small company and are trying hard to achieve their dream like so many others, but society wants to keep those at a disadvantage down and not let them reach the level of those who were started off with privilege.
Haha dancing is the way your body responds to the music.. you can dance.. some of the members didn’t know how to dance in the beginning,, but hey, they embraced it now and Army appreciates every bit of their silly moves. Yoongi can dance but we love him for his grandpa moves or his “tiny” dances, RM for his cramping dance (idk exactly) , wwh Jin for his unbeatable rapping skills (just love d way he raps).. people who like you will accept you for however you are.. go out there and be you! This is still my favorite song. The translations for this particular song are so off. Baepsae is a little teeny bird called a crow tit. Hence the birdlike choreo. This is one of their most political songs (It's kind of in the same bag as their other songs "Spine Breaker" and " Am I Wrong"), but you wouldn't guess that it is political from this dance practice because of how they were goofing around. The hip thrusts are equivalent to middle fingers (basically saying fuck you to the system). All the movements in the choreo reflected/ corresponded to the lyrics which is what they do a lot in most of their choreographies (their movements narrate the lyrics). They don't just dance to seem cool. I suggest you check out the explanation video by DKDKTV to understand the song better. And also, in the future plz react to "Hip Hop Phile/Hip Hop Lover".
Why not dance? I dance as my exercise atleast 15-30 minutes a day and I feel good. Not all bts members are good in dancing at first but they worked hard. They improved soo well and now looked pro, so why not give a try🙅♀️
