As bullets fly over yonder, shrapnel reshapes the earth, and bodies fall, Our hero faces the grim reality of his own mortality. A sacrifice he had made peace with, to save his comrades from the destruction of enemy artillery. But miraculously, he has been rewarded for his bravery from an ethereal source! They did try to kill him and his friends. Although when it comes to these verses:
‭Romans 12:18-21 ESV‬

[19] Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” [20] To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” [21] Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
You are correct but God explains multiple times (in and outside of these verses) that it's his job to incur wrath on others, and if Larry's enemies are inherently evil then Larry being infused with the power of the one and only God would make sense. God isn't above slaying evil people for if it is required to assist he shall.
