Harvey was actually ready to have Luis’ back. He reacted so quick. Then he thought, just for a second, maybe she won’t drag his name through the mud. But she did. And it bothered him. Even though he pretends he doesn’t, he cares.
Throughout this scene Monica was clearly controlled by Hardman. That might explain why Jessica refused to be in the same room with them. Smart move Jessica.😁👍
I like how Harvey immediately figured out what they were going to do when Mike answered who Monica was harassed by. Really shows his experience compared to Mike.
Mike wasn't at the firm at the time, he couldn't possible have known that Luis harassed Monica. Not saying that Mike has the same experience as Harvey, but this is the reason he was caught so off guard in this instance.

Because they would owe Hardman $15 million. And they would open up Jessica to exposure, because she knew and covered up the embezzlement. If the embezzlement becomes public knowledge, a firm can struggle to survive. A firm I worked at in Austin was the largest one, but there were embezzled funds, and the firm split apart and dissolved. Jessica would have had a hard time keeping the firm alive if word spread that the managing partner had embezzled firm money, so she buried it and blackmailed Hardman to stay away and be quiet.
I also want to add that Daniel returned all of the funds. So whatever the damages the sued for, it would definitely be less than the $15 million they paid him.
Mark Leel Well I'm pretty sure it's because she made it look like Louis was harassing her to cover up the fact that she slept with Hardman who was a married man and whose wife had cancer and who embezzled money from the firm to find that affair.

It’s moments like Jessica letting Mike take lead that makes you realise when Jessica did end up having to give him Junior Partner that she was being honest when she said he deserved it.
She slept with the partner. She lied about it. They couldn't trust her anymore. She got fired... Maybe she didn't know about the money.. And yet I can see, why Jessica fired her... L

Hardman - hated
Wags - loved

Louis needed a stronger father figure in his childdays

Any lawyer here? Why they didn't break confidentiality and then sue Monica for the embezzling?

Oh ,,, I LOVE Mike Ross ... the last one to vote with permission ...
Maybe Harvey should’ve led the deposition. Mike carried it well but it Might’ve ended differently who knows
This channel is missing that scene where Hardman realizes Harvey broke privilege because of Donna, and threatens him with that "win" smirk

Mark Leel
But he meant well and also she only decided she was bothered by it when she was suing the firm which was just despicable
