Great watch 👍, fished all around there as it my back yard .the big bass always come in close , try and get a pout a live bait ( the pout are normally tight to the groynes) . Also have had rays so close in at night on mackerel strip . And don't think there are only slip sole here!!!! Glad you had a great session 👍.

Hi. We live Dorset and there are some big bass around. Caught 6-8 lbs several times over a couple of years. Biggest one I caught on the beach was around 20lb. Almost killed me 😂. A beast. Like your video's and watch regular. All the best. ☺️
Uk shore bass record is 19 odd so you done well pal😂
@@mitchelledwards8708 thank you. Didn't realize what it was until I reeled it in but to me it was just a big fish 😂. I've also caught a golden mullet ( one with the thumb print on). And again to me it was just a pretty fish. I just use any old bait ( usually the guts of mackerel) feathers and any old rod. I always think that if the fish are hungry they'll eat . Just love fishing really.🤷
Another video another belter Rhys, genuinely taken over the fish locker and Carl and Alex for me as the most enjoyable channel on yt your videos are just so much more relatable just seem like a normal guy out with his mates enjoying his fishing, I know you probably mentioned it in the video but it was quite long so might have forgotten, what was the name of the rig you had on the wee rod for sole? Few decent spots for dab and flounder local to me in Scotland so wouldn’t mind trying the rig out, cheers in advance

You don’t need to go that far to catch sole there’s good sized sole to be caught in the Thames at the moment
