As an Engineer with the BNSF (actually retired over a year ago) the UP style signal shields are an improvement, for they keep the snow out of the signals so one can see the indication. They even keep the sun from shining directly on the indication so it can be plainly seen. They are a big improvement!
IS IT WEIRD THAT I THINK THIS TRAIN IS SEXY. I DON'T WANNA HAVE SEX WITH IT OR ANYTHING, BUT I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PEICE OF MACHINERY. IF THINKING A TRAIN CAN BE SEXY MAKES ME A WEIRDO THEN SO BE IT, BUT MAN THIS IS A BEAUTFUL TRAIN.

Man would I have enjoyed being onboard that streamliner!
Nice video, what a beautiful locomotive the E5 is. :)
Great Stuff!
I see they are ruining the Galesburg area with the Stupid UP style shield signals. But your film of the Zephyr is beautiful notwithstanding!

Is it weird that I made this train into a Thomas & Friends character and named it Zelda (as in "Zelda the Zephyr")?
