- THE BIGGEST SUSHI EATING CHALLENGE! This has to be impossible, it feeds 15-20 people?! No one man can eat that! Today we take on the biggest Sushi boat challenge I have ever seen! Featuring tuna sushi, salmon sushi, lobster sushi, eel sushi and many other maki rolls, nigiri and sashimi, this authentic Japanese sushi challenge was a seafood challenge, and almost a sushi all you can eat (there was literally that much food) all in one! For todays challenge at Japango in Moncton New Brunswick canada we had 1 hour to eat and complete the massive "Eat The Ark" $250 sushi boat in order to get the meal for free! The fish was very fresh and the portions were fantastic.. Definitely a must try place!

A lot of the younger owners of these restaurants get it. They know Joel is going to win but the audience this place reaches thanks to Joel is well worth it. I never understand the owners or restaurants that get mad, cheat or cut him off. I’m convinced Joel will never lose.

The thing about Joel isnt just that he's an eating MACHINE, but he's polite, has manners, and keeps us all feeling like we're there with him. Even when he's timed.
Seems like dude loves the taste of every food at every place he goes. He's either really lucky, really polite, or just likes literally everything he eats.
You can actually tell when he’s not the biggest fan of what he’s eating, so I think he’s mostly just really polite 😄 but also lucky that he does like most of what he eats

I was taught as a kid to "eat it or starve" and I didn't wanna starve, so I ate whatever was placed in front of me, feeling grateful to even have a meal. So I get it, kinda... You learn to love everything, or nearly everything, just feeling lucky to have the opportunity to try something new.

I work at a sushi restaurant and never get sick of it. This is the only challenge Joel has done where I feel like I'd be close to being able to finish!

Breathing is the key to eating lots of wasabi. Do NOT breathe through your nose very much, if at all.

I love how much you enjoyed this, as I knew you would! The owner seemed so nice and helpful. Love when we get to see some of that interaction between you and the owner. You killed this sushi challenge. Definitely your biggest sushi challenge to date!
First video of his I've seen, but I love how he's enjoying and experiencing the food while he's eating it and not just rushing the whole thing in order to get it done in the time limit. Definitely going to be watching his other videos! My favorite sushi was always the rainbow roll or the spicy tuna.

The input of careless whisper was perfection for the salmon sashimi ❤ this is an absolutely gorgeous array of sushi. Looks absolutely too quality and so fresh. What a variety of textures and flavors. I'll have to check this place out with my 5 children I know they'd love to share this boat with their dad and I.❤
Some people have never had this much sushi in their life, and Joel finished all that in one sitting like it was a snack 😭

Absolutely love how that music is edited in when you try something you really enjoy! I kid you not, I made “Lamb Shanks with Red Wine sauce on a bed of creamy mash”, followed by “ Golden Syrup dumplings with vanilla ice cream” the other week. My number one favourite winter dish here in Tasmania, Australia. After each bite of the entire meal, I swear that song played on loop the whole meal! 😂 😂

That sushi looks amazing! No food fatigue there! If it feeds around 20 people that's a screaming deal, considering it's less than $13 per person. We always mix our soy sauce with the wasabi. Great job hun!

This takes me back to when I went out to dinner with a few couples, and my one friend got an insane amount of sushi, and she kept ordering! My hubs and I just looked at each other like wtf! She was gracious to share a few of her rolls. Joel is so educational and informative about each type of sushi 🍣! I’m surprised it’s your first time having baked sushi. My 6 year old son had baked eel when we visited Washington DC. I was shocked when he ate it. It is a little off putting to me. One of my favorite pieces is tamago or egg’s sushi. The rolls look so fresh and delicious! This restaurant is so amazing. I still love the crunch roll for the amazing combinations of flavors and the rainbow roll because of the multiple layers of fresh fish on top. However the spicy tuna roll with the spicy mayo is a classic and those flavors are amazing

I do love to see a food challenge that's not burgers or pizza, I adore sushi, so this looked so so good!! excellent victory!! You’re supposed to eat sushi then a piece of Kim Chee. It’s not meant to be eaten like a salad, all at once. That’s when you’re supposed to compliment the sushi with Kim Chee.

You're a beast, zero signs of slowing down! Love aburi/torched, nigiri sushi. Also get a sushi roll dipped in tempura batter, deep dried and then sliced up. Adds a tasty, crispy texture.

My favorite roll is the spicy tuna roll. The restaurant I get it from has spicy tuna with avocado inside & spicy crab on top with an extra topping of spicy Mayo. It’s seriously the best ❤️
