    The Texas women's basketball team scored the first eight points of the fourth quarter and secured a 76-66 road win at Oklahoma State on Saturday.
    Madison Booker led the Longhorns (18-2, 5-2 Big 12) with 19 points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals. Aaliyah Moore, playing in her home state, scored 17 points for the second straight game on 7-of-14 shooting and added eight rebounds. Taylor Jones recorded a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Shaylee Gonzales added 15 points for Texas.
    The Longhorns used an 8-0 run in the first quarter to go up 14-5 and led 20-14 after the opening period.
    Oklahoma State tied the game 45-45 at the 5:28 mark of the third quarter. Texas responded with a 6-0 run and took a 51-45 lead on a basket by Booker.
    Texas opened the fourth quarter scoring the first four points. Booker picked off an Oklahoma State pass and went all the way for a layup to put Texas up 61-53. Texas continued to score the first eight points of the period and with a 10-0 run took a 65-53 lead. At one point Texas was outscored Oklahoma State 19-7 in the fourth quarter.
    Up next the Longhorns will host Oklahoma at Moody Center on Wednesday, Jan. 24 for a 6:00 p.m. CT tip.

    • The Longhorns improve to 18-2 overall and 5-2 in Big 12 play.
    • Texas has won six of the last seven games against Oklahoma State in the series.
    • The win for the Longhorns is their 1,200th in program history. The Longhorns become the sixth DI women's basketball team to achieve 1,200 wins.
    • Texas shot 29-of-55 (52.7 percent) from the field. It's the 13th time this season the Longhorns have shot 50 percent or better.
    • The Longhorns shot 17-of-21 (81 percent) from the free-throw line.
