i personally use tap jump for shine>grab and aerial shine>bair, it allows more control as you can decide on the fly if you want/need to turn around in the shine before the grab/bair and it divides responsibility evenly of what each of your hands are doing.
do you have a video on how to get out of shield pressure? or just away from a falco in general? I have trouble with the aggro of that match up, they are just all over me and I can't get momentum started.
if you read the "falco shield pressure - basics" it'll show the timing of how to get out. there are a lot of things he can do but you can also just buffer roll a lot of the time until he starts covering it
I know you left this comment a while ago, but just replying in case someone else sees this. What really helped my shine pressure and more specifically my multishine, was practicing shine>wavedashback>shine>wavedashforward Specifically this is good for shine crossups on shield, but it also drills into your muscle memory when you can act out of hitlag on shield. It really helped my multishine fluency
Spaced aerials aren't threatening? bruv tell me it's not threatening to be in the corner at +100% having back airs spammed on your sheild. Low risk, high reward. Edgeguard scenario, puts you in advantage.
Hey kira, i know that this is more of a fox main thing and HIGHLY punishable but sometimes i like to shine cancel up smash and this often leads to kill or up air kill. Any thoughts on this option or is it simply way to punishable in more competitive melee?

the sounds of Falco slow motion shine grabbing is orgasmic
Right!? I need this sound clip in my life but I can't find it anywhere...
Thank you for making my journey with Falco less harsh! I was a kirby/doc main back in the day, so my tech skill was garbo.
god kira sounds so disappointed to be making videos
+Cheesy Bread Lol, I never realized how my voice sounded back when we started. I thought I was being normal but actually it sounds terrible
SSBM Tutorials bitch your my fucking godd! hallelujah!! 😇😘
Thank you very much for the videos, I appreciate the work you put into the melee community.
I do find jump canceling for shine grab a bunch easier by using tap jump, but if you are consistent with multishining then it shouldn't really matter
Aziz Ansari bro I know this is like 3 years later but you just help me so much with shine grab you are a life saver
Excellent tutorial man, thanks a bunch!

Anyone have advice for getting around fox buffered shine oos?
most of his stuff works with fox too I'm guessing? obviously not Lazer jab but most of it?
In the shine grab section, what does it mean by "can follow up with shine even if grab fails"? What does grab failing mean?
Sometimes people get hit by the shine, which makes the grab miss. But you still have time to combo off of the shine even after the lag of the grab

I just have such a hard time, timing multi-shining on shield. Then again I'm not very good at multi-shining in general.

High reward when they're at kill percent only. What he's saying is that you don't get combos out of it.
Pressue? lol btw nice vid kira!

its more of a flashy thing but it can be good for tech chases

westballz double shine pressure?
That would be multishine I guess.
King it's in there... multishines. westballz doesn't always stop at 2.
not what he's talking about
super late , but it consists on double shine , wave stomp , double shine
I find shine grab hard to do
+_ Kiwi_ Coc Butter Everything in Melee is hard to do.
