In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Комедії
I honestly want her as a friend. She’s incredibly likable and comes off as a genuinely friendly person. I need someone like that in my life.
Try being positive, finding joy in little things, etc. No guarantees, but you'll be more likely to attract good people.
Tbh, she is definitely the least funny and probably the worst at the tasks. But she is likeable and friendly
Do you work at being something just as amazing for others, yourself?
@@princeandrew9073 Idk, I found Jamal pretty unfunny throughout. At least she was likeable, where he often was not
@@MyName-sx3mr Jamal is very unlikeable, except in the ‘bring something in’ stage.. when he’s doing tasks he’s very standoffish and rude.
The cheek of Alex encouraging someone to let loose and scream. When he yells like an 80 year old woman.
ᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃʰ
he can do short screams
Get off my lawn you two!
The primary school teacher panicking at being asked a question regarding science above the grade level she teaches.....
Science teacher is exactly her vibe.
The correct answer is: we have no freaking idea.
@@paladinoestetica lol what... average people, or scientists... cause science explains it perfectly well lmao
@@smoothie9931 I agree that science has worked out so many things that "we have no freaking idea" probably is a bit strong of a statement, but there are different levels of understanding. Ask a scientist about what came before Big Bang, and most would answer that we don't know, though some might present the theory they personally believe in the most. From what I've gathered about gravity, we do have lots of knowledge about the macro effects of gravity, but at the nuclear level it is difficult.
As you can tell I'm absolutely by no means a physicist myself, but I know that there is the so-called "strong force", "weak force", "electromagnetic force", and gravity. The weak and electromagnetic forces have been unified in a single theory, but uniting them further with the strong force poses difficulties, and even quantifying gravity is problematic. Don't ask me to explain any of this further, I don't understand much more myself. All I know is that uniting all four fundamental forces, and thus "explaining" them properly, has not yet been done, if it ever can be done. The result would be a Theory of Everything, the reason for the existence of the radically different approach than the "mainstream" which is called String Theory, and which famously was Stephen Hawking's lifelong quest to achieve.
Please, do NOT take this as any form of teaching, I'm simply conveying the elementary knowledge I use on the topic as a fundament for Philosophy.
@@Ohyehah ah, no, what I meant was science understands what causes gravity. Mass, and why this occurs. I agree quite a lot of stuff is unknown, and possibly impossible to know. Gravity though, is well explained... went through a whole month of it in physics
Charlotte being embarrassed by her own scream is soul food
Its so cuuuuuuute
I love her and am so happy she won an episode. I hope she will be a guest on the podcast someday.
Well we've had Jamali, Sarah and Mike next week so it's quite likely we'll get Lee and Charlotte too in the last 4 episodes of the series. (Also I was incredibly happy she won one too)
Charlotte is so adorable and endearing
unlike you
@@mftmss7086 you seem like a fun friend to have.
If you haven't already watched Ghosts then you should. She's brilliant in it.
@@Tendo8002 indeed 🥰
@@littlebluepanda394 I will! Ive heard of it but havnt watched it yet
Charlotte's worst habit is being absolutely, relentlessly delighted by everything.
It is also her best habit.
@bad1dobby I feel like Rob Beckett is also relentlessly happy in everything he does
It's all an act !
@bad1dobby I agree. I love her in TM but I'm sure it gets annoying if you live with her. Like an overly enthusiastic auntie lol.
Like Mel Giedroyc in her series, she loved every second of it!
It's a credit to her acting that the Charlotte Ritchie in 'Fresh Meat', the Charlotte Ritchie in 'Ghosts' and the Charlotte Ritchie in 'Taskmaster' seem like completely different, separate people.
And the Charlotte Ritchie in 'Feel Good' too
And when she voiced Anathema Device
And call the midwife!
Now the Charlotte Ritchie in You. That one blew me away.
Really, I think Charlotte Ritchie in Ghosts is quite similar to Charlotte Ritchie on Taskmaster, both would make great children's show presenters
I like that they put the ticker for the wheel on the top, rather than on the side, so the contestant has to tilt their head to read the instruction.
so your glass is half full, ey? Mine is half empty...
She really does look like a primary school teacher i cant😭 At least she looks like your favorite primary school teacher tho
I can't believe Alex didn't comment on her Ice Scream
Oh, man, good catch! That's normally exactly the sort of joke that Alex would make
She is adorable. I love how she covers her face when she's embarrassed. And she reminds me of Margot Kidder from Superman.
Wow, she's such a great actress though! She started acting scared/amazed without missing a beat, and it was really believable!
She is an absolute gem this series - so good to see her win a show this week too!
‘Letting go like that’ Bless 🥺
Charlotte is my absolute favourite contestant, along with Katherine Parkinson.
Mel Giedroyc is up there too, she loved all of the stuff they had to do!
If she hasn’t done improv, she should. She is amazing!
Charlotte has the same energy as Joe Thomas. They were separated at birth.
Yes!! People keep saying "Oh, she's the Katherine Parkinson of the series..." when she's clearly Joe's twin!! =P
@@Marina.Menezes maybe they're triplets
If you haven’t seen it, they’re both in a series called Fresh Meat, it’s highly recommended.
@@Dawsonator96 I have! I loved Fresh Meat, I miss it a lot!
@@almightykellus2585 =O
I love Charlotte! She adds a childlike glee and positivity to the show!
This video: has a very quiet conversation
Also this video: blasts the theme music at the end
To be fair the gravity question is a rather tricky question. As in it's way more complex as you think it might be and your average person won't be able to answer it correctly.
The coolest thing is ice as it turns out
But unfortunately, it's just not that shocking.
Ice is pretty cool. You can use it to float, you can make weapons out of it, statues, it'll keep your drink colder than room temperature, its see through in the right conditions, it's just an all around great time. It's not the COLDest thing though.
@@shanustheanus Also it has a way more interesting and involved wiki page than anticipated! It was extra reading for one of my chem intro classes...
The other coolest thing is Charlotte.
Kelvin is the coolest thing
Let's have them whisper throughout the video only to start screaming once you've turned the volume up
Extremly evil of the editor.
Classic UA-cam! Nightmare with headphones!
Thanks to you as I was able to turn it down in time!
A Monty Python fan I see
thanks for the warning, I turned the gain fully up and the volume to about 50% which is madness.
I liked Charlotte Ritchie before, but since turning into Mike Wozniak when describing gravity, she now has gone from a solid 8/10 to 12/10 for fun funny people to be around. 🙂
Wow, she's an amazing actress. I only knew her from the show, so it's incredible to see how quickly she can bring to reality an "amazed by my answer" or "scared by cameraman" expression (though the face-covering in the latter one was, perhaps, not one of the great artistic moments of our time). There's a big difference between a comedian's "I'm acting amazed!" expression and a professional actor's realisation of actually being amazed
I mean she’d be so great as doctor who
She's already guest starred in it, and that seems to be a stepping stone to promotion to main cast.
@@iaingeo exactly
pls shes actually so sweet i want to be her friend
I totally by that her worst habit is that she's too caring to other people to a point that it becomes invasive.
She seems like such a lovely person and even though it seems near impossible that she'll win this series I'm glad she's having such a good time doing the show!
I was thrilled when she finally talked back at Greg after he suggested that the pope's outfit isn't a uniform. She's finding her voice in the show, instead of meekly taking Greg's sass.
@@alotofthings22 Yeah that made me so happy! I think she's said in an interview that she got more confident in the second half of the series so she might start standing up for herself a bit more now :D
@@cadhlabracken3402 I kinda feel like Greg was mocking on her a bit too much and gave her some arguably unfair low scores in the first half, till the point that she said in one episode, I don't remember which one, that she lost all her confidence and look almost like crying. After that they didn't mock her as much and she seems to do better as well. She ended up winning 2 episodes, which was impressive considering her performance during early episodes.
This was probably done for me to enjoy her adorable gestures. :) Thanks Alex
I LOVE Charlotte!!! 😂 so pleased she won this weeks episode 🙌
I made the mistake of watching this with ear buds in and then "ICE" destroyed my eardrums. And the whole reason I put the ear buds in was because the volume seem to be very low at the beginning… 🙉
Charlotte is really down to earth and also has an amazing singing voice
All I could think of during the 'ice' question was - "Answer the question, damn your eyyyyyes!" And the director's "Even bigger." 🤣
(Ghosts S1 bloopers will answer all your questions.)
how dare this man question the validity of a scream when he can't even shout
She should have asked him to demonstrate a scream.
Lol at the ice pun, I wonder if she had that ready,or if it was just the easiest thing to scream haha
I like how they get extra baffled about the gravity question because it's something you'd assume that you heard at some point, but science isn't exactly clear past the fact that it's a natural force proportional to the size of the mass.
If you're interested there are some really nice videos on UA-cam that give explanations of gravity using stretched out fabric and metal balls. They explain things like mass and orbits in a nice visual way.
@@jmckendry84 that's nice but we still don't know 100% how it works or its connection to other forces
She’s adorable
Unintentional ice cream pun at the end.
You're my hero
GET THIS WOMAN A CHILDREN'S TV SHOW IMMEDIATELY!!!
She is great love her in all her tv programs.
«ICE CREAM ICE CREAM»!!!!! I screamed and i eventually got ice cream
She looks EXACTLY like Margot Kidder once upon a time. She should be cast as Lois Lane.
I didn’t see it (probably because she also looks like a woman I once loved), but as soon as I read your comment I couldn’t believe I missed it. She really does.
wow that is spot on
Wow. Literally the same. She should. Hopefully more people realise this
I’ve been thinking that ever since I first saw Charlotte but couldn’t remember the Raiders actress’s name. Thank you!
Oops - Karen Allen is the Raiders actress, finally googled it. Kidder and Allen also look remarkably alike, in my defense...
The thumbnail has the same energy as Phil Wang doing the 'don't blink' task.
The amazed acting is amazing
Charlotte's attempt to outrun falling water in the "Make the sauna rocks hiss" task shows that she clearly doesn't know how gravity works....
I like this one shes like friendly, like somebody you want to be friends wwith
Charlotte supremacy
Angled? is it a bit angled? Charlotte **shakes thumbs intensely**
loving her this season,...
She is such a talented actress. I’m glad she’s been getting bigger and bigger roles lately.
I have such a crush on her since TM.
Such beautiful grey-green eyes, amazing colour.
I thought the second answer was done as a Daisy Ridley impersonation lol
She's my favourite this season, so sweet and just cookie haha!
That was so many more than 5 questions, Alex
Love Charlotte
Before this video I got a VistaPrint ad about a haunted B&B... bit spooky :)
She’s so cute
Charlotte just genuinely really like ice I guess
'letting go like that' lmao, faaaar too innocent
i am in love
I adore her!
Gosh I love her so much
The picture of Greg I'm the background looks like Method Man
I just think she is fantastic
Her second response is basically being Simon from The Inbetweeners!
When is Ep. 1 coming out on UA-cam?
She is so damned adorable.
Fun fact we genuinely don't know HOW gravity works we only know what it does. While we have General and Special Relativity to work off of no force carrier particles for gravity have yet been discovered. To us gravity is similar to what a tablet computer is to a toddler, a thing that does things when things are nudged a certain way but the best guess as to how is "well we honestly don't know but this is our best guess".
We do know that the closer you get to the center of the earth gravity becomes weaker. If the earth were hollow and you were suspended at the center you'd feel completely weightless. This is because gravity is directional and if you're inside a sphere gravity of different parts of the sphere will pull on you in different directions (and correspondingly different magnitudes according to the inverse square law) effectively cancelling each other out at the center.
You need to learn what "fun fact" means.
loving these but they are very quiet
She is so sweet and cool!
Indeed she is. Still, the coolest thing is ICEEE!
Charlotte is so lovely, I love her.
I hate people who do a limp thumbs up -- Charlotte's thumb angle was respectable
Will never forget that scene in Fresh Meat where Vod cuts her hair 😂 💇♀️
God she's such a good actor actually! Wow!
I love her
One of life's beautiful nerds
you did it in Wozniak's interview first; and I am ready to give my right arm for the answer;
where can I find that delicious soundtrack??
As far as I know, all taskmaster music is written and performed by Alex's band. I guess that means the answer to your question is... in this video.
When can I expect to receive your right arm?
@@stevenchaloner162 when Alex becomes the Taskmaster.
alex seems like a Mafia boss just sitting in his chair
Interview audio is very low again.
She seemed like Joe Thomas with the second one
I get why the scenario is shown on screen at the end of the answer but I think I'd rather have it shown as soon as the wheel stops
So adorable.
Just when I thought I couldn't be anymore attracted to Charlotte, she does this...
Love her ♥️
Still love the interviews. Still need them LOUDER PLEASE. Thanks. I need the volume on max to hear people speak, then I get blasted in the ears by horns the second it's over.
How could anyone hit the dislike on any of these?! As of writing, someone has 18 downward thumbsheafs...or 18 people had their ICE pyramid slide off the table.
She is like a golden retriever
I thought the second answer was an Holly Willoughby impression
She really looks like margot kidder
Can you please fix the audio level on these?
it is not appropriate for a fully grown woman to be this adorable
ICE! ICE!
How was she working up a sweat during the "How does gravity work?" question?
Edit: I've just seen another comment that answers my question- I was only thinking of it in terms of how Mike worked up a sweat!
Most actors can cry on command, Charlotte can sweat on command😎
By being nervous.
Does it have sound?
Actually, the gravitational force does not increase the closer you are to the center of the Earth, but I'll let that pass because she's hilarious.
She is so cute!
She's amazing, makes me smile.
This spinning wheel doesn't work without giving the answers on screen.
Anyone else notice themselves opening their eyes wider, when she did?
Mirror neurons at their best.
