What makes this song so amazing, aside from the obvious rapping speed, are the lyrical content, subject matter, the double & triple entendres, the tempo & cadence switches, and rhyme delivery. He even gives a shoutout to all the artists he's been influenced from including the part that starts at 7:34, he mentions "Supersonic (JJFad)," a song/artist from the '80s. Eminem is referencing the last verse in Supersonic. The visuals in the video just add to the song too. Aside from the Max Headroom reference, he's subtly implying being plugged into "The Matrix."
I think that this one of the best songs that Eminem has ever done. I still think he should do a raw, freestyle album. I don’t think that if Eminem was trying come up now, he’d get cancelled so fast. For anyone who remembers when he started to come up with the Slim Shady LP and everything that surrounded him was crazy. Seeing Maggie’s face when he was doing lyric after lyric so fast. From an old show called Max Headroom
How to switch cadence?
How to rap in rhythm
Also, the nod to video game classic 'Portal' was a fun surprise.
Didn't know you like Eminem. Can you do more Eminem reactions?
Maggie's face is priceless 🤣
Teacher: Okay, you will be reading your note next!
Me:
I think that this one of the best songs that Eminem has ever done. I still think he should do a raw, freestyle album. I don’t think that if Eminem was trying come up now, he’d get cancelled so fast. For anyone who remembers when he started to come up with the Slim Shady LP and everything that surrounded him was crazy. Seeing Maggie’s face when he was doing lyric after lyric so fast. He’s a genius and there is nothing like him and going to be nothing else like him. Oh and Machine Gun Kelly isn’t the same, comparable, nothing.
Harry Mack. He's the new lyrical genius. Eminem couldn't freestyle like Harry.
Now it's time for "Polak MC Silk - Rap Nobody faster than Rap God (Eminem) - raps in 7 languages feat L. U. C."
The amount Of different flows he used in this song is ridiculous
First time seeing ur reaction and I love your smile and ur vibe. Yes, u got it girl. ....by the way I love ur voice. Its rather shocking that you haven't done a hook on a rap song yet.
Ugh, school flunky, pill junkie
But look at the accolades these skills brung me
Full of myself, but still hungry
Absolutely amazing lyrics. A man not afraid to bring up his own shortcomings and use them to simply point out how far he has come.
My favorite bars of the song.
The lyrics, the flow, the cadence.. the meaning.
GOAT
Opera to Eminem best part of your reaction when he went crazy you had the best reaction
"Why be a king when you can be a God?"
That fast section set a Guinness World Record and this song set the Guinness World record for most words in a song.
He's being Max Headroom at the beginning, btw. Someone has probably already said this, but I couldn't not. :)
The fast part live is incredible
Fun fact, Eminem said that when he sung the 7th verse of rap god, (the really fast part) he just made it up all at one time. He just spit out words he didint even think about it, he just said the words he didint even write it down. He just said a bunch of words. Wow.
Eminem is one of the best rapper ever seen and he have keep on getting better because he is creative with his word. I enjoy watching this video 😅
He stepped it up into another gear in Godzilla, if you haven't checked that one out.
Idk if there's an actual correlation, but from "rap GOD" to "GODzilla" seems like it could have been intentional.
Love this song, and Em, thanks for reacting
My pleasure! 🤘🤗🌺
Always love you reactions
Teachers when they read 7:36
This man I can’t!! Perfection!!
all his Work.. ART without any N wort.. INSANE!
You are the best and you deserve the world to be better for your kids because I am proud to say I have been a teacher and teacher and a great friend and I will continue working with my kids to help you
Amazing thing about this song, it's just Eminem's freestyle. He said about it in an interview.
Her face💀💀🤣🤣
Gonna suggest something by Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman's band from 79-95. Their biggest hit was probably "Dead Man's Party", but I think that "We Close Our Eyes" might be a better showcase.
It sounds like he could tattoo words into my ears with how fast he's saying them.
"be king? Think not, why be a king, *when you can be a god* "
That last line will forever be remembered for generations to come all the way to the fat future
epic reaction loved it 😆😆😆
Now u should check out godzilla eminem
Quite possibly the best Rap God reaction that I've seen!
This song still holds the world record for the most words in a song. 1560 words in 6 minutes amd 4 seconds. 4.25 words a second.
Did she really just give us a disclaimer for a Eminem song 🤣🤣😂😂😂
😂😂😂❤❤love your reaction
Eminem the king 👑👑👑👑💪💪💥💥
This video/song set a record with that rap for the most words rapped in a certain time...only to be broken a few years later by.....Eminem on Godzilla (if I'm not mistaken)
