i was hoping you would do a gift video always nice to see what others get your landscape art maybe make them as cards or fridge magnets you can buy a magnet sheet that you can put into a printer and print on the white side.
Inspiring video. I agree about Derwent & Caran D'ache. They are my favourite art product manufacturers. I love the combination of Derwent lightfast pencils & Caran D'ache luminance pencils. I always have a fun time with them.
Congratulation to so much new art supplies, have very much fun with it. 😀 Strange that the intensities are so different and hardly any overlap. Maybe Derwent has changed the colours recently and these sets are of different ages. One before the change and one after. For me, Derwent is quite creative and extensive when it comes to art supplies, but the quality is too inconsistent for me to call them one of my favourite manufacturers. My Favourites are the XL tinted Charcoals very much, smooth with a good hardness and the Graphitetint with the subtle coloured palette. The Inktense, from which I got the coloured pencils and the blocks. The blocks are a bit dusty and when dried they can still be smudged a bit and are a bit chalky. The inktense pencils work better, but according to the colour table they are not as Lightfast as the blocks for some colours. I also have an old drawing set and some of the pencils are much too waxy and always stick to the paper and the pigments are not well mixed with the binder. Sometimes there is a small dark line when applied. Unfortunately, my 12 Colorsoft Set is also similar, much too waxy, although I've always seen the opposite in videos. If these don't work well, it's usually like a mixture of coloured pencils and pastel pencils. I was most disappointed with the Lightfast, they were different in hardness and waxy and many of them were applied unevenly, because the pigments were not mixed well with the binder. Which you can also see on the tips. I thought they had solved the problem with the uneven application with the Lightfast in comparison to the other coloured pencils and gave them a chance.
I think you might be right, Although I have sometimes used high quality supplies from the likes of Faber castell and winsor and newton that have also acted inconsistent. I may have to try more to get a real feel for them 😜 Thank you for your comment!
I have the 12 piece inktense blocks, and for some reason I am NOT enjoying them one bit... Mine has so much grain in it, it is so frustrating, NOT A FAN, but I know everyone has different ways and means of using art supplies, so for that reason, I am happy for you... awesome video..
Are you a yarnie? I discovered a video where she used Inktense and I had a fun day “dyeing” my cheap white acrylic yarn… it dried in such cute pastel candyfloss colours… which I then used to crochet some cute amigurumi 🤗

Hello Kylie ☺️ welcome! I would suggest practice and patience, try different mediums (as you are!) and try different techniques and subjects ☺️ once you find your favourite thing to draw/paint.. keep doing it! Starting is the hardest so you’ve already conquered that one ☺️♥️
Oil pastel is my favorite medium!❤

Oh what a great idea! I’ve not thought of magnets before 🙌🏻 thank you!
I love derwent products myself and I've got quite a collection of their paint sets now and some of the pencils. The inktense range are great.
I’m swiftly going that way it would seem 😂
love the first horizon zero dawn, the second one needs to come to PC soon!
i love those oil pastels, so nice but so expensive
I’ve played around a third of the newest one, it was great. But not as good as the first imo
They are! I’m so lucky

Ooo oil pastels 😍
I know! Who am I.
Beaitiful painting. How would you seal it?
I use a spray fixative to seal the oil and graphite. Works really well ☺️
