    Fantastic video. Great visual details. Great organized order of take-apart and put-together. Best part of all...gave me the confidence to take apart the ESAM 3300 that had leaked for over a year. Refurbished cost would have been $400, new would have been $850. Cost me two o-rings at 0.15 ¢ each!!!! Thank You!!

    23:25 Die O-Ringe an der Brühgruppe sind scheinbar schonmal gewechselt worden. Die Originalen sind in der Regel schwarz und haben auch nicht 4mm Durchmesser, sondern 4,2.

      Hallo, ich denke die original O-Ringe sind seit einigen Jahren erst schwarz. Ich empfehle bei der Brühgruppe der ESAM Modellreihe 4mm Durchmesser und am Brühkolben 4,2mm. Habe gute Erfahrungen mit dieser Kombination gemacht. Bei ECAM alle Dichtungen natürlich mit 4,2mm.

    How easy is it to get any replacement parts you need? Do you get them from the manufacturer or do you use 3rd party spares? I have always thought that getting spares would be one of the hardest part of any repair!!

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  11 місяців тому +2

      Spare parts for Delonghi coffee machines original or from third party suppliers are very easy to get, at least in Europe. You can buy these on amazon, ebay or online shops that specialize in spare parts for coffee machines.

      @yt.myworks  10 місяців тому

    Hello, thank you for very instructive videos. May I ask you, what do you consider as more repairable and easier to maintain and endure? Jura or Delognhi? Thank you very much.

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  5 місяців тому +2

      Hi, both Jura and DeLonghi offer some of the best coffee machines on the market, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. I recommend always choosing the most popular models, such as the Jura E8 or the DeLonghi Primadonna Soul. Higher-end models tend to be unnecessarily complicated and thus harder and more expensive to repair. Additionally, replacement parts for DeLonghi machines are generally a bit cheaper than those for Jura machines.

    Would you have any method of improvising/acquiring an external pipe for a milk jug (DeLonghi Dinamica)?

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  7 місяців тому +1

      Theoretically, this would be possible with small changes to the front panel. However, there is no suitable software to have the same function as with machines with milk containers.

    • @BucifalulR
      @BucifalulR 7 місяців тому

      @@yt.myworks Oh, I did not mean modding the machine. My milk jug is missing its pipe (the one through which milk exits the jug and gets to the cup). I was wondering if I could improvise a pipe or buy one from somewhere (DeLonghi does not sell it directly) as I do not want to buy a new jug.

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  7 місяців тому

      No, unfortunately these parts are not available to buy individually. The pipe has a seal on it so this is difficult to replicate.

    Hi Myworks, I have an issue with my Delonghi where the grinder only runs for about 2-3 seconds. If the shot runs it is very weak of course. Sometimes it doesn't run the shot and instead shows a flashing red light error on for the grounds container, which apparently refers to the grounds (scoop) being selected with no grounds being in the funnel. If it does this flashing red light thing, then no shot is poured. I'm noticing a build up of grounds in the funnel too.. which doesn't make sense. It was all working find until recently. Have you encountered this error? I'm not sure it if is mechanical or electrical. I've given the grinder a service based on your very helpful video. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  11 місяців тому +1

      Hello, first of all, you need to make sure that the brewing group is easy to move by hand. Otherwise, the machine thinks that too much coffee has been ground and reduces the time of the grinding process. After the brew group has been cleaned and regreased, prepare more than 5x coffee without coffee beans (ignore the error message). After that, the grinding time should be set back to 6-7 seconds. OMG!! Now that i've found this video I am so tempted to give at fixing my DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM04.110.S another go.
    The problem with mine is the fact that the water sounds like its finally blocked somewhere inside as it kind of leaks nor it pours a coffee now. I have descaled it, tried to steam it out and even tried to run the hot water spout in the hope it was trapped air which could of been the cause of the problem but nothing has worked so far. Ive even been brave enough in taking some sections apart to give it a good deep clean but that hasnt worked either. Like yourself i am refusing to throw away what seems to be a good machine nor i like to waste.
    Shame I cant get you my machine to you so it can be featured on your UA-cam channel. hahaha!
    Apologies for my long "comment" but i thought id reach out thanking you in advance for such detailed video breakdown. Any tips/suggestions on my machine?

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  3 місяці тому +1

      You can try to descale the machine using the "rinse" button. With this model, some areas are omitted in the descaling program. The recommended procedure can be seen in my other video: ua-cam.com/video/-BPGEyW5RVA/v-deo.html
      If all else fails, then the upper brewing piston needs to be looked at more closely ;-/

    • @decubasoy
      @decubasoy 3 місяці тому

      @@yt.myworks I believe it could be the upper brewing piston too as ive already tried most of what you've just mentioned apart from turning off the machine after 6 seconds without the infuser inside so one can clean the back and the tablet in the water tank. I even bought a new infuser and that didn't help either. but thanks for your recommendation, keep them coming haha!
