@jmatrim Im enjoying this documentary very much and am learning a lot, yet I have to agree with you. All I have "learned" from this documentary is what I *believe* through the voices of the mostly male, scholars and writers. We have to understand that her story is being told pretty much exclusively by the intellectual elite of today, who may have their own motives. There is a lot of material remaining that came straight out of Emma's mouth, why all this noise? We do not need their verification.

how the hell does this documentary fail to mention her time in Spain working towards the anarchist revolution there, its typical of mainstream media outlets and intellectuals to negate mentioning the great, albeit brief, succeses of the Anarchist revolution in Spain.

The photo of Goldman at 5:35 is almost too intense for words. Goldman was an original like few others; her life an inspiration to activists everywhere forever.
Also, I agree with Sensarmy300: there is no mention of Goldman's involvement with the anarchists during the Spanish Civil War and the uprising put down by the Spanish fascists. It seems the tone of the film toward its end is somehow supposed to illuminate Goldman's disillusionment with leftism. But that was not the case with her.

additionally, does anyone else notice the focus on romance within her life? There was even a sex scene! Sure, romance is a very important part of one's life but I do not feel that famous male radicals receive the same sort of attention regarding their romantic lives. Also, the title of the movie, "...an exceedingly dangerous woman" screams to me the slight ignorance of the director. OMG a WOMAN is ANARCHIST and can also love!? AND be in the same room with a BOMB!? DANGEROUS WOMEN!!!!
