Congratulations my friend! And also to answer you the whole different mold things happen slot. Like MPM-09 where jazz has an accurate version while a friend of mine on his copy has a lime green visor with silver paint

I have my own personal copy of this figure and when I was transforming it, I was panicking because I could not find the front 2 wheels for truck mode.
Thinking the factory forgot to install them but wow it blew my mind how well hidden they were.

Well damn. How many bloody episodes on the G1 cartoon did I watch. Both as a kid, and as an adult. And I would have sworn black, and blue until the cows came home. That Prime had silver cab stripes in BOTH modes. Mind not just blown. But circling the planet Unicorn style. Just Phwaa!

I've never bought a third-party or KO before, because I was always under the impression that they were shady, or cheap, or poor quality - but you've shown me that's not the case! I do have MP-44 and while I like it very much, I'm honestly scared to transform him haha. I'm forcing myself to practice lol. This guy TE-01 looks amazing though, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't in lust with him after watching your video!! I never got an MP-10 because I had fallen out of TF collecting when he was a thing, and since getting back into it about 2 or 3 years ago (POTP Prime pulled me back in!), MP-10 even then had become prohibitively rare or expensive. I did pick up last year or so the MP-10B Nemesis Prime recolour and I absolutely love it. I also have an original MP-01, and while I can clearly see the engineering improvements over the years, I still think MP-01 is an amazing figure. Love your videos as always!
There are a lot of KO and 3rd party options that have a lot to offer. Just research first and make sure what you plan to get is good first. *Looks at El Cid with contempt....* LOL!

Second, this is one EPIC!!!! collectors item and I don't blame you one second for wanting to go through that transformation everyday! I would. I didn't know this was a thing ans how amazing it is. Hi Bert, great review of TE 01 - he's a fantastic representation of Prime and has some amazing engineering. Looks like you got version 3 of the mold, which addresses the wind shields (earlier versions were a little too transparent), includes the more 86 movie accurate head as well and has the painted lights (yelliw/orange) at the top of the truck can. Glad you enjoyed this awesome toy and what a great 200 episode video.

Congrats on 200 great episodes dedicated to an even greater character! Your Doctor friend sent you the latest version of Transform Element 01. It's the third release and in my opinion the best one yet. They actually included that awesome toon head and frosted the windshield which was so much better than the original. They added some new paint apps too. The original cab lights weren't painted. I can't wait to get mine. Great job, again!

Not gonna lie, OP Leader's engineering in the legs is something surprising. Now that said, I really hope you get your hands on a Magic Square Light of Freedom because it is beautiful, and if it weren't for OP Leader's ingenious leg engineering I'd say Light of Freedom gives other MP and MPlikes a run for their energon

It's likely someone got paranoid about the indentation and they chiseled it away from the mold at a certain point during production. There have been some crackdowns on ko/third party factories some time ago IIRC.

Originally, a masterpiece was the final work of art a student would show to the art master, in order to graduate. It would be the piece showing everything that he'd learned from the master. It probably wasn't the best work the artist ever did, as he would continue to hone his craft throughout his life, but it was still significant to the artist. Later 'masterpiece' just became the term for an excellent piece, but that is not how it started.
During development meetings at Hasbro, I kept asking what the intended use for the word 'Masterpiece' would be but I always got the same answers; "You don't work here!" and "We're calling security!" and those smug execs never did get around to telling me! Crazy, right?

It's weird but I just got this guy and with mine the head that comes on him had 2 different spikes on the side of his head. One of them was the ones that come on replacement head while other one was more flat instead of a point.
Interesting. I wonder if they changed the mold. I know this figure went through 3, maybe 4 revisions.

@@BertTheStormtrooper Well, if you got Transform Element's OP Leader, you shouldn't have to try to get MP-44, because depending on how you look at it, OP Leader could be a better and affordable MP-44!

Hence why I don't have one
I have an mp44 coming in the next few days. yeah its expensive but all i have so far is an original mp1 without a real trailer and pricing mp10s that was going to cost as much as an mp44 anyways... unless i went for that ugly year of horse version with the wacky clear trailer. so i went with mp44 and a ko kbbmp10v which is supposedly voyager size.
