On a similar note, I work in the food industry, but all I really do are dishes, and sometimes fries on rare occasions. But even then, we also deal with annoyances there. I do ignore it by listening to music and stuff, but if I'm not listening to my music, then I gotta ignore it in some other way.
I know what u mean. I used to work at a grocery store as well too and even though I didn’t had that terrible of an experience working with customers, I can deeply empathize with what Ember is going through emotionally and I’m autistic which says a lot.
Yep, like I said, Ember is literally a hot-head, due to her fiiery appearance and temper, and I can actually relate to her right now, well not because I have a temper like her, it's because due to me being autistic, I have trouble getting out of my comfort zone, or in her case, stepping out of my element, but Wade helped her open her eyes to see life outside of Firetown, and shows off her talent in glassmaking. Wow, this movie should've happened years ago due to how it took 7 years, which is 2016, to make.🔥💧🔥💧🔥💧🔥💧🔥💧🔥💧🔥💧🔥💧
I know what u mean. I’m also autistic and have a hard time getting out of my comfort zone as well too. It’s very difficult which is completely understandable. But I’m also a very highly sensitive of other people’s emotions which I pick up more strongly than other autistic people and also regular people in general. When I pick up on their emotions strongly, like Wade, I can’t help but cry uncontrollably as a response to both compassion and empathy which is not very common for people with autism but it doesn’t mean that it can’t happen. I’m also actually very compassionate and empathetic of other people’s feelings for someone with autism which is what really makes me very tender hearted and very different from other autistic adults. But I’m also very self aware of my autistic quirks can test some people’s patience and how it drives some people crazy which makes me feel very subconscious about. As for going outside your comfort zone, just start off slow. You know baby steps and then gradually work your way up. Try new things that deep down u really want to try even the ones u think u won’t like. Don’t say you don’t like it until u at least give it a try. You might surprise yourself. I know it’s very hard to deal with and adapt to new changes but u got this. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Just believe with all your heart that u can handle anything! As someone who has dealt with a lot of changes in her life like myself, over the years I’ve learned to try to take it one day at a time and be kinder and more gentler with yourself when it comes to either dealing with change or just going through a new situation in life. Everybody is going to deal with every new change at their own pace and as long as you have the best coping skills and loving and supportive people in your life to help u through, you’re going to come out just okay. I promise u will. It will take some time. I struggle with change too but I had to learn to adapt and be more flexible. Sweetheart, I know it may not seem like it but I wanna let u know that everything’s going to be okay in the end, I promised it will. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I see what you two mean. I'm autistic, and I have a temper, but like Ember, I'm self-aware of it. I have lousy management at my workplace at McDonald's. Annoyances also occur there, and they make me irritable.
*Ember:* Take breath. Make connection. Take breath, make connection. Take breath, make connection! TAKE BREATH, MAKE *_CONNECTION!!!_* [explodes in anger]
Yeah. I can’t say I don’t blame her. Some customers are just jerks. Customer service is DEFINITELY NOT for everyone even if you’re super outgoing and extroverted. It can really make u lose faith in humanity in general and test your patience when it comes to dealing with entitled and rude customers especially during the Christmas holidays. Not to mention be very damaging to both your physical and mental health.
@@disneyfan9134 I have autism, and my managers won't upgrade me to customer service. But even if I were in customer service, they'd keep me downgraded since I might react wrongly to customers whether they're moody or I'm moody.
You ARE NOT alone, my friend. Nobody’s perfect. It’s okay to feel and be angry, just try not to lash out and take it out on other people and be a jerk about it. You got this! Just remember that you’re only human and you have every right to feel however u need to feel as long as it’s not hurting anyone. Everything’s going to be okay, I promise it will. Who thinks that there’s going to be a Elemental main antagonist, or just a plain old villain in like a sequel or something, what it’s name will be and what would its goal in the sequel be? I think its main goal should be gaining control of all four elements and then could possibly destroy well anything especially Element City.

Well customer service is DEFINITELY NOT for everyone and that’s okay. She probably needs more time to come to terms with the fact that customer service maybe just isn’t the best fit for her. Believe it or not, I used to work in a grocery store back in 2019 and even though I’ve never experienced something like that of what Ember went through, I can still very much empathize where she’s coming from emotionally and mentally. 😤😥

Ember being self-aware of her temper taught me a lesson about my temper. How? The video is self-explanatory!
And the fact she realized her temper tried to tell her she wasn’t born to run the Fireplace when her father retires.
@@evanholloway1692 That is relatable on so many levels.

I've seen this movie 21 times now. There are a lot of jokes and puns that can be made about the characters.
I even noticed some adult jokes, and my family fail to believe me.

She didn’t know that yet, until later in the film.
Anger: Now you know how I feel
I loved the (psychological) conflict aspect of Ember having to fight against her hothead instincts.
Reminded me of Legoshi from Beastars in a way IMO
I hope everyone who has ill tempered problems sees this and teaches them how to be calm.
