This is a EEPROM Component Replacement tutorial, on how to remove an 8 pin EEPROM (EEPROM desoldering). This can be easily stuffed up. Here is a tutorial to show an easy method. This is the single iron/hot air method, utilising "ultra low melt solder". #MBKupcycle #applerepair

I mostly talking about EEPROM's, thats what I work with mostly today. But 20 years ago I used to do a bit of work with EPROM's. The fun of stickers and stag erasers (UV), those were the days.....
