My youngest is 38. All my children are moved out. When they were teenagers they cleaned their own rooms but once a month I did a deep clean. I never gave them a warning. Love the shelves!

I plan on decluttering my teenage daughter’s clothes. We do it together and she tells me what she wants to keep or give away. My son is 12 so I usually go through his clothes without him because I know by looking at it if it fits or not. I usually go in there room and tidy up and do a deep clean once a month. They usually keep their room clean. Great video 😊😊

I remember finding gross stuff and mine have been gone. But stinky clothes, dirty bottom sneakers, old food, bloody things, used q tips. I guess I'm still traumatized because I still remember and it's been 20 or more years but I was always surprised how gross they could be. Happy as clams living in filth.

Yes, like I said, I have to prepare my son because he has autism. So I have to prepare him that I'm going up there and then it takes a while to get him to calm down a little bit and not be so anxious about me cleaning his room.

Hey Ashley. Sorry I’ve been MIA. My dad passed away Thursday. I cannot explain the pain and sickness we feel. Cancer is evil. It took our 38 year old sister six years ago. And now dad. I’m having a really hard time. I’m sorry to lay all of this on you. You feel like a friend.

Hi, Ashley, your daughter's room turned out very nice! Love black & white, it's a classic! The shelves are very cute! Great job! I guess I cleaned my kids' rooms until they were teenagers & if it was a disaster & I told I told to clean it several times I would do it & throw things out. So that's what I did! They finally got the message! My oldest daughter was the best about cleaning, 2nd was my oldest son. The other 2 were pretty good. They got better as they got older. Since you bought that dark black computer for your daughter. One of the best things to wash it with to keep it from fading. Is the wool light dark's defense And also, if you're trying to go clean in your laundry detergent, Tide puts out a tide 0 that you could try and it's really good. I've used both products and they are very good. And the key to dog hair and things like that on your dark. Bedding is to use a fabric softener. And then you can pretty much just shake it off. Or brush it off in between 😢 cleans
Hey Ashley…great job on Aubrey’s room. I know it must be hard to make a small room work for a teenager (esp a girl!) I like the idea of a hanging net in the corner for the stuffies as you know they never stay on the bed! 😊

Hey Ashley, I love seeing your videos every week! I love getting the motivation to do what I need to do during the day! I didn't know that Aubrey loved the Twilight Saga series because I have all of the books too, but I need to watch/read the series again. I just rarely feel like reading unless I have the audio version to listen to as I read the book! I love seeing the before and after pictures all of the time! Maybe me and Aubrey think alike when it comes to the Twilight saga books lol. I'm in the process of drinking my coffee too! ❤❤❤

I can’t say I have ever gone into my teenagers’ rooms and decluttered without them. I would feel strange going through their things.
You should put one of those mesh corner stuffed animals holders. (Sorry no clue what they are called) I think it would help her keep them off the floor and bed. Watch these in Sunday morning to get me motivated after relaxing for an hour with my coffee 😊

Actually all of it. Because I have a special needs. Son and he is so afraid that I'm gonna throw things away. So he's like standing over me. I literally have to have my daughter or a friend take him out somewhere so that I can clean his room because. It gets to him if I am cleaning his room.

I don't clean my kid's room. We clean it together. That way she makes the decisions on what she wants to keep and what she doesn't want to keep. I can't just invade my kid's space to clean.
