Thank you for posting this, I’m about to replace the temp sensor on mine and this was really helpful! Just as an aside though I figure if you’re only replacing the temp sensor all you need is either a 19mm or 3/4” deep socket with an extension and you should be able to reach it fairly easily without having to remove anything.

I have a 2016 Silverado Ltz and the radiator fan stays on the entire time the truck is running. Also the ac don’t get cold until 10-30 minutes. Then is blows super cold all day. I changed the coolant temp sensor and disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and it still doing the same thing. I’m not getting any codes and my gauge on the inside is reading correctly. Any ideas?
