Not sure what state you live in but I know that most counties have a crisis shelter and all you have to do is either call or go to the sheriff's office and report the person who has been committing domestic abuse towards you and the deputy will take you to a crisis shelter but if they physically abused you let them know that you fear for your life and they should take you to a crisis shelter and they are wonderful here in Dalton, Georgia and they will make sure that you have everything that you need and will keep you safe as long as you abide by the rules bc they are there for your safety and protection, not to hurt you or anything else but they helped me and my 2 children get an apartment based on income and fully furnished it with brand new furniture beds, dressers, living room suit etc... They are there to completely get you set up in a very very safe place etc
