I think that Season 6 Episode 10 is such a great episode because it completes so many story lines (e.g., The High Sparrow, the end of the Tyrell line, the end of Cersi's children and Lannister line, the end of Walder Frey, the alignment of Dorne/High Garden/Greyjoy/Targaryen houses with the Unsullied and Dothroki forces [and their voyage to Westeros], the, best of all, the end of the Stark misery), ties up loose ends and starts the final chapter of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire with the revelation that Jon Snow is a Targaryen and a Stark. ........ We're in the ENDGAME now! ..........
That is still my favourite monologue in the show to date. Michelle poured her heart into that performance and it still pisses me off that she didn't win an Emmy for her role.

Yeah, I think the person who made that did so not just to make the case for that theory for his fellow book readers, but to help console the non-book readers, who were devestated by Jon's death. By showing them there was hope. Because it showed that there was far too much built up in Jon's story and so much more to be revealed and for him to do, for it to have ended there
Jon actually had a better claim to the throne than Danny , he was the Rightfull ruler of the seven kingdom's that's why ned could never reveal his real heritage as it would have threatened Roberts claim to the throne .
i dont think its clear to them what being a Targaryen actually means and whats their relation with the dragons. First thought that came to me after finding out about jon parentage was that he can control a dragon.
You're right, of course, but I don't think that's a rule tho, could you imagine Viserys ride on a dragon? the dragons will accept a rider, that respects them and shows strength. Sure a targaryan is the most obvious choice to be a rider, but it's not a given. (spoiler in case these guys read comments) Dany stood her ground when Drogon screamed at her in the fighting pits, Tyrion stood his ground when the two dragons tried to intimitate him in their dungeon and Jon stands his ground in season 7, and all three were able to touch/connect with them

I read the Books and watched few other History videos released by HBO. According to them during Targaryen era dragon egg were given to kid Targaryens , so that they can take care of them and create a bond from the start. In a riders lifetime a Targaryen dragon rider can only choose one dragon until and unless that dragon dies and vice versa. For example Dany can only ride Drogon, the other two followed her commands but she can never ride them. And in Viserys case am sure could have rode a dragon if he could create a bond with one. There have been a lot of terrible Targaryens like viserys in past who were all arrogant like him but still had dragons. And Only a Targaryen can ride a dragon no one else can. Tyrion was allowed to take of the chains but he could have never rode any dragons.
It's bittersweet seeing them so excited for season 7. Don't get me wrong, season 7 had its bright spots, but I just don't think it lived up to the hype. Many will blame the writing (justified, especially 7x06), but I mostly blame the pacing. Cramming so much plot in seven episodes was a horrendous mistake and it makes me trepidatious going into season 8, which is even shorter.
Anna, you're not remember your true most satisfying moment. It was episode 4x09, when Sam kissed Gilly, before The Battle for the Wall. You had a smile bright enough to light up Time's Square when that happened
She also had one in season 7 which she may not have mentioned here as the cousins hadn't watched it yet. Episode 706- her reaction when Dany showed up beyond the wall looked like it was quite a satisfying moment.

10:07 Nope Jon is the true heir to the iron throne because he's Rhaegars son. Rhaegar is Danys older brother. Because of that and because he is male he has/had a higher claim to the throne back then. Then Rhaegar died. Which means Jon is his next heir before Dany.
Not sure why they think Dany has the better claim just because she had two Targaryen parents. That has nothing to do with who has the better claim all that matters is who Jon's father was and if he's a bastard or not.
