The first spade in the ground was the end of April 2022. September the first fish are going in.
A 12,000 gallon magnificent Koi pond was made, in a short time!!
This is fully indoors, with folding doors on the front corners which opens it up... we will enjoy the full effect in a future video.
The pond has 2 bottom drains which each feed a Nexus 320+

On the skimmer line, which is one of our custom wall skimmers, is a 36" Advanced filter.

The Nexus are run on 20,000 Varipumps, currently set at 50%

Has to be my favourite style of pond out of all the ones you have done. I would have chose different finishing touches but the idea of it is amazing. Well done to the owner. Enjoy!
This one is really a great pond. I love the color, never really liked the green ponds and black always seemed the least bad choice, the stone work looks great, the rolling air column is a pleasing feature through the side panel ,maybe the depth helps that, and the viewing room ambiance isn't disturbed by the errrrrrrrrrrrrr of pumps. Top that all off with great quality fish, sometimes it seem people spend all their money on the pond and then fill it with lower end fish. A Shiro Utsuri similar in size to the Hi Utsuri would be high on my shopping list. The owner/builder has done a great job, cant wait to see were he takes it from here.

13 made it and hope they'll live as long as their parents.

We have an acre pond with about 60 Koi many as nice as what he put in this take they were 3 inch to start now they range in size from 10 inch to 18 inch . After 3 years, we were told babies won’t survive in a pond. That’s the only fish we have in it other than minnows small ones that birds brought in cost about $200 a year for now for food like puppy’s when we feed them. must be great to have fish that old what do you have them in thank you

This was 36mm laminated. I have never used thicker really. Glass is very strong, just don’t make the window too long, we don’t like going more than 2.5m long
Wow - gorgeous pond! Incredible. I keep hearing that if you have a big budget, and RDF + shower is the best option but then I keep seeing these big budget ponds going with two Nexus 320s. Are they better? Easier maintenance?

Top notch ... it will indeed be an interesting journey seeing this pond develop and the quality of the koi (there has to be a a couple 80cm fish in there soon) added. Just wondered about the background of the koi keeper ... has he had koi set-ups before and worked his way up the koi keepers ladder ? Or has he just taken a crane and jumped to the top rung on the ladder. Nice to see the brits giving them jumbo pond setups by the yanks a run for their money!
The client was an avid Koi Keeper many years ago. Then took a break. It was a video he saw on my channel which made him jump back in!

interesting looks great. Why did the builder opt to place the drain and air bubbles directly in the middle of the looking window? to each his own, I find that it takes away from the quality of the view.

Woooow how many koi can that pond hold?
I am at the early stages of building an insulated garden room to house a 10000l heated raised pond. Similar to this but on a smaller scale. I realise that I will need a dehumidifier, but don't know what size to get. My question is, what size is the one in this set up and does it keep the humidity at say less than 60%?

To think all I had was a plastic 🎏 fish bowl with just one gold fish, and sea 🐚 shells just for decoration in the water. Try not to laugh, when you're reading this. We also had a tiny pond in the garden. It must have been less than 3ft square. ...🐚🐠🇬🇧💕
