This drama was actually surprising in a couple of ways. I thought it was gonna be your standard hot mess of misunderstandings, but when the leads actually had that moment in the middle of the show where each confessed their insecurities that was making them self sabotage, I was truly shocked. Even more shocking, they BOTH tried to take corrective action to overcome those things. Even towards the end, when the ML was still making mistakes (he was TRYING!) he came back to say these are my CONCRETE corrective action plans to fix these problems. Look at that, character development. The FL too learned to stop running away from her fear of abandonment and accept that not EVERYTHING was her husband's fault. I didn't need the pining (balding) older brother angle, but whatever.
This is really a cute drama. The evil isn't overdone until the end. The ML and FL act well together. The other actors aren't bad either. If you are looking for a silly love story to fill some time, this is it.

the problem i have with this (and all other dramas lmao) is that the wife tells the husband that the assistant and he nearly got married and she is the perfect one and the wife even confronts the husband saying she said this that is it true and the husband denies and says the reason. and neverr confronts the assistant to stop the bs talk and actually respect the wife? like are you crazy sir? the woman working beside you is a proven green tea and you never care about it? never even tell her to stop? thats when you failed as a husband.
Bless their hearts, those were some awkward fake kisses! It was like when you mashed your Barbie and Ken’s faces together and made them “kiss” (or was that just me?🤗). Frozen expressions, stiff body language and just put the mouths together. Either practice more, or skip ‘em altogether, cause this was a little weird.

I have this drama played out by shen hao nan and i forgot the FL's name but I prefer their versions, both were fast paced but I feel their version had more details included in the story telling than this. I prefer the editing in this version tho when the ML and FL were agreeing to sign over the shares but cut their ties with their respective families. the editing looked better than the shen hao nan version. but I prefer the shen hao nan version of the scene where the brother of the FL was being bullied. I feel theirs is more detailed/complete comapare to this. some other scenes i prefer the shen hao nan version, some scenes I prefer this version. its pretty much the same story with very minor differences. both we re done good.
