Eph 5:19 states, "Speak to each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make masuic in your heart to the Lord." Col 3:16 states, "Let Christ's word live in you like a rich treasure. Teachand correct each other wisely. Sing psalms, hymns, and spiritualsongs. Sing with thanks in your heart to God." No mention of non-clapping or the lack of beating a drum. The bass in the music is done with vocals no instrument...
I am confused...who gives the authorization for a choir? And clapping for that matter..it is my belief and the bibles as well that if you woldn't beat a drum which is streched skin then why strech the skin on your hand and beat it? Eph 5:19 col3:16
so if you won't use a drum that is stretched skin over a cylinder then why would you stretch your skin of your hand and beat it? But then agian with your logic we could ask why not use steak and cola on the lord's table...i mean after all he didn't say not to right? you know the command is to SING nothing more...the choir is adding as is the clapping...be logical and truthful
