it's because they had about 1 comeback each year, and not much promotion. they hit it big with black dress and cube didn't follow up with any sort of activities to lock in a solid fan base. The best comparison i can make is bebe rexha where a lot of her songs are very popular and top the billboard charts, but there's not much of a solid fan base (sorry if there's any fans). Now that they actually have promotion with girls planet, it's too late. they've all been in the cube dungeon for years and had their comeback songs handed to other groups, i feel that the trust with cube has already been lost. at this point they are most likely just waiting for the 7 year contract to run out, like elkie who has already sue'd to get out of the contract
