had my blood pressure taken the other day and the feller said wheres all your medications, i pointed outside .. Merry Christmas, to the Morgans ,, I love yous' ,, what a year.. well done mike being outside and workin' yer body , heart,, soul . keeps a man balanced and nice ta talk to ..
What doctors know, my grandfather did this putting around until he died. Nobody works that hard anymore, til I saw Mike. Productive and purposeful keeps a man going. God bless. Thanks Mike for the videos, very encouraging.
Hi Mike, Stewey here from the N.E side of Washington State. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and have picked up a lot of good ideas from them that I will be using on a my property. Just want to send a thank you out to you and your family and let you know how much I really enjoy them.
Wow this guy just Mike just does it all Working in the woods and having a ball Already over 6 thousand views today We love to watch him turn work into play Being outside sure is his passion And those woodcutting chaps are certainly in fashion Cutting or felling or skidding and winching The subscribers for Outdoors with The Morgans numbers are upward inching!!
Trust! Mike, I wouldn't want this style all the time, but just you and the camera and no narration worked well for this type of video. Not sure if you did this deliberately, but it worked and gave a great sense for what a guy needs to do with limited day light, just get at it. Well done!
Aw frozen ground ...the loggers reprieve. Such great memories. I have traded my TV time for Outdoors With The Morgans.(a true reality show) ......Carry on and never give up.
When we first started picking up leaves on our property, I worked until it was dark and then came home. In order to see I took a chain link fence top rail and attached two 300 watt flood lamps to the top (pre-LED days), then put a 2" pipe into the ground so that it was flush with grade. I would then be able to slide the 20' pole into the pipe and work in that area until my leave were picked up. I put a number of these 2" pipes into the ground and just moved the light pole around to work on the next area. Great video Mike, thumbs up.
Another awesome video, Mike, and I truly love your titles, no click bait, just the facts. The only possible way to make a better video was if Melissa came up the stairs at the ending❤️. Blessings to all!
Your wood roads and elevation look very similar to mine. I am constantly trying to be sensitive to the amount of "disturbance" in my woods when dragging out blowdowns and firewood logs. The Wallenstein looks like just the ticket for my woods as well. I'll be saving up for one starting now! I have a great chipper/shredder you might like. It's a Woodland Mills W68 and will take a 6" log on my 38 HP tractor. Makes nice chips that I spread all over my wood trails for my tractor and horses. Great machine and I can highly recc. the company. Keep up the good work!
Mike, that may have been your best video ever. You had all the parts of your woodcutting passion, a little music, day into night action....wow you nailed it. Now all you need to do is develop a conveyor system to catch the wood so it doesn't go into a pile...you know, so it goes right into the totes. LOL have a great Christmas and make sure we get our gift...more Outdoorgan's videos.
I just put a set of logging chains on my kubota. You will definitely feel more secure with the chains. I didn't go with the diggers on the cross links as they look like they could damage stuff. Also did front chains and would buy them again. I'm impressed where I can go without worrying about getting stuck. Looking forward to dragging in the snow, mud is getting old. I needed rear spacers to clear the fenders which is a added cost. Love the lights.
Our only glimpse of the behind the scenes of Mike's Wonderful cinematography. Mike's footprints in the snow setting up cameras. Mike you should show us what it takes to do that sometime. Might give the Thumbs down haters a new perspective.
The winch seems to be a better and easier then the use of the grapple, use the winch to lift the front of the log is make skidding easier. You seemed to be having fun and make it look so easy. thank you for sharing god bless you and your family
From a standing tree, cut up in length, hauled in, split up and on the wood pile, Mike is a 1 man working machine. Great job! Have a wonderful Merry Christmas to You and your Beautiful Family.
You looked lonely out there without Melissa. Hope she recovers quickly. Working with a partner is very much safer than being out there on your own. Working in the winter is so much better than in the summer. Work activity keeps you warm and no annoying insects. 🦀
stan nelson if no snakes, then what would we eat for lunch snacks, the 🐿 and squirrels took all the 🥜.... but all seems like tasty eating along with that buck that you got!
I love how the snow looks out in the woods. I used to be out in it all the time, now I only dream of it. Be careful when you are out. Merry Christmas to you all and I pray Hunter has a good day. I hope Melissa's hurt foot is better. God bless
Mike, you are like a super hyperactive beaver, putting up so much fine fire and mill wood for the future! That frozen ground sure makes skidding easier too. Can't wait to see what your milled lumber looks like. Say hi to Mrs."Beaver" Morgan too.
Beautiful day, snow in the woods, chainsaws, timber, cutting logs, tractors a humming, and Mike Morgan working at his passion. What more could you want. Merry Christmas to Y’all and May God’s peace be with all. Thanks Mike for a nice video. ❤️👍
Nice job. I always put the open end of the hook facing away from line of pull, I have had them come unhooked before with open end facing tractor. Bet you can't wait till your grandson is old enough to help.👍
I keep the cable at top of skidder then lift the logs higher at the plate then chain them . Less drag on the ground . Also try too keep the chokers close too the cut end . Better when skidding the logs . I skid as many logs as I can at once out close too the splitter for cutting . . I find it saves a lot of handling and time . Like the idea of night splitting . No cold wind . Usally calms down nice in the evening 👍
Hey Mike and Melissa, another great video how you folks extend your daylight hours. You did a great job and really made the equipment work for YOU BOTH. Isn’t that why we work so hard to obtain the different things to make our work easier so we can enjoy what we do ? I certainly enjoy all of your videos and greatly appreciate your time sharing with us. It is very relaxing to be able to set down and watch videos from you folk. Say hey to the rest of the crew.👍👍
The one thing you don't have is a chipper. We bought the Woodland Mills chipper (best value on the market and made like a tank). You could chip up the underbrush and use it on your trails. It could redeuce the muddy areas for better traction especially on the many hills that you drive on.
I have to get use to working without sun shine alot. Very little of it here in AK... Of course the lights on my tractor decided to stop working... Seeing that skidding winch is making me want one now! Thousands of trees down behind my cabin that I simply can not get the tractor to and going back to the four wheeler seems impossible now that I've got the tractors...
I love the stillness and serenity of the Winter woods...and you captured it beautifully with this video Mike...great job!! Merry Christmas to the Morgan family!!
A video with no talking 🤔 Awesome. There's a peace being outside after the snow flies. Its like the snow absorbes all the background noise, minus the tractor and chainsaw lol. This idea might be more trouble than its worth but what about making kindling bundles out of the treetops that are left over. Hope you and your family are well. God bless.
What a great video! I originally thought you had made an ASMR video until I heard the music. Some people really like to just hear the sounds of different tasks without music or voice. Merry Christmas to Clan Morgan! I hope you have a blessed Christmas season. You certainly have blessed us all year allowing us into your lives.
Hey Mike, I know you put a lot of time and hard work into your trails and driveway. Have you ever looked into purchasing some type of dolly device to hook up to your tractors and prevent the saw logs from digging into the ground as you bring them back to your log splitter? I was a Union pipefitter for over 20 years and when we were working with large bore pipes we used a dolly device called a “Grasshopper “. Do your research I certain you could find this tool and incorporate it into your operation. By the way, I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!! I’ve become obsessed with watching your videos lately!! Keep up the great work!! Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family!!
Hi Mike, That looks like way too much fun. I was telling Buckin' that you guys are doing the things I love to do. Thanks for Sharing and Merry Christmas to you all, Paul from Texas P.S. I hope Melissa's foot is getting better.
I love the special effect about a minute into the video when Mike just "pops" up and starts cutting with the chainsaw! Hey Mike: Can you just "pop" over tomorrow? Have several trees to drop and drag. LOL! Two videos without Melissa.....😢. I am officially in Melissa withdrawal!! 🌹
That is some pretty cherry that you are cutting up !! Too bad it is not straight enought to saw lumber out of !! Thanks as always !! God bless , merry Christmas !!!!
Jeez had to start working 2nd shift to keep up the firewood. I’ve got the next two weeks off, I’m thinking the same thing. 40 degrees in WI today. Thumbs up
💥 This was a great video from start to finish. The whole firewood gathering process. You’ve really come a long ways compared to your orange tractor days when I started watching. Quite the professional now! 👍 Keep on tractoring!
Mike, You should look into one of those Dewalt Tripod Lights. It works off of their Dewalt MAX battery series, And would run for about 8 hour depending on the setting you use. it's lite, compact, and raise to about 8', and has a very high Lumens. You'll be waving off airplanes. It would be great in power outtages and other emergency's ...
That was interesting. I like the editing on this episode but I missed hearing you call the play by play. Cutting down & skidding out those big logs is a lot of fun. And watching you negotiate the logs to cut rounds is interesting too. Still like hearing your commentary. God Bless.
Hey Mike, Do you have a 10x10 or 12x12 pop-up tent you can use at your splitter? 1. you can attach a camera to the pole. 2. you can place a small heater under it while your down there. 3. you can attach lights under it for visibility. 4. if its weighed down it could stay and protect you splitter. 5. its just a thought.
With that RK55 and the wood winch no wood is safe from the Stihl. Great video and feels great to get something done after a day at the office. Hope Melissa’s foot is feeling better. Hey Hunter! ✋🏻👴🏻
Hi Folks, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I'd like to pass along my method for measuring log cut length for fire wood. I typically have a 20" bar on my saw. Just measure back from the bar tip to the desired cut length and draw a heavy line on the inside of the bar with a Sharpie and a straight edge. If you need different cut lengths, just make more than one line. Line up the mark with the end of the log and "nick" the log with the saw. repeat until you have the whole log marked. Makes it quick, accurate and easy and you don't need to carry, attach or buy anything except the Sharpie. Shalom, gw
Mike, it looks like you got your wish. Everything appears to be frozen there. Even 27° in upstate South Carolina this morning. Is the pond frozen yet? Have a productive day.

A beautiful day to be in the woods AND good working lights to finish off the job after dark. Thanks for sharing.
thanks for the gift of your company
Actions sometimes speak louder than words! Great video - have a day.
What a way to make the shortest day of the year just a little bit brighter God bless my friend

Mike your going to have to start a new monster wood pile, getting big , nice work! 👍👍
The winch seems to be a better and easier then the use of the grapple, use the winch to lift the front of the log is make skidding easier. You seemed to be having fun and make it look so easy. thank you for sharing god bless you and your family
On a rare occasion you do a raw, “Mike out in the woods” video. No talking and little if any music.
Really cool.👍🏾
From a standing tree, cut up in length, hauled in, split up and on the wood pile, Mike is a 1 man working machine. Great job! Have a wonderful Merry Christmas to You and your Beautiful Family.

Thanks for the video Mike. Looks you where having fun.
A very productive day, feeding your passion every man wishes he could do that

Mike, that set up is PERFECT!!, wish I had the same. I will some day.....
Nice job. I always put the open end of the hook facing away from line of pull, I have had them come unhooked before with open end facing tractor. Bet you can't wait till your grandson is old enough to help.👍
That's what I call entertainment.
Bet you can't wait to get out in the woods, especially when you are off work, magic 😉
Awesome video Mike. Keep up the good the work and stay safe.
So jealous of all that nice wood you have available to cut.
That is some very nice turning stock you use for firewood.
I keep the cable at top of skidder then lift the logs higher at the plate then chain them . Less drag on the ground . Also try too keep the chokers close too the cut end . Back to what made it all happen......this is my kinda video....just missing the 🐾🐾🐾🐾 and the 👸🏼. Great video 👍🤠🔥
I love the sound that the split wood makes while falling on the pile. Very nice video. Thanks for sharing.

Your learning the tricks of how to use that!
Some things dont need words to enjoy the beauty of mother nature along with a chainsaw running.
Hey Mike, really liked this one. Even my Sun Conure, Jasper, was swaying to the sound of your chain saw.
I see you added lights so you could work when it’s dark. Y’all have a merry Christmas and stay safe.
Hope Melissa’s foot is healing up! Good video!
Now that's efficiency! Right tools for the job! Great video!
For some reason or another Bob Segar's "Working on the Night Moves" was playing in my head while watching there towards the end...👍
Awesome video. Say hey to the family and yall HAVE A DAY 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love the stillness and serenity of the Winter woods...and you captured it beautifully with this video Mike...great job!! Merry Christmas to the Morgan family!!
Yes, you go Mike. Another video without Melissa, what did you do with her, lol. Keep up the great work.
Enjoyed the video Mike, thanks for setting the seen for Christmas
Nice of you Mike sharing with us your form of a relaxing day into night...you exemplify the term "Busy Beaver"
Great video. Nothing like hearing the sounds of the equipment working.
Don't need to say anything and still enjoy watching. Now I need to go split some myself.
your killing me Mike -- splitting under the lights awesome !!!
Great video! You have a amazing setup!

I wish I had that much firewood I would b set for about 4 yrs or so nice to see some night time splitting
Well put together!
That winch works great think I will look into one for my tractor. Thanks for the informational videos
All the best to you and yours this Holiday season
neighbor cliff must love you working into the nite .lol
The like the lights Mike. Gives us a little more outdoor content in the winter months.
Love that pile of wood 👍! Little disappointed in your not putting a tarp on the wood splitter😢. Stay warm & Merry Christmas!
No Talk and all action Mike, have a day

God morning Mike. Sure enjoy the videos. We are doing pretty much the same things here.
I miss the hand clap. :) 👍 Merry Christmas friends.

Mike - can you widen the rear tires to provide a wider stance? Will help on some of your side hill pulls along with providing some stability.

Going to the woods tomorrow, I am. Dropping some trees and winching. Wish you lived closer. 🤔

I'm cold sitting here in my living room in Florida just watching this haha. Have a great Christmas and a very happy New Years.
great video. thanks for the entertainment. merry christmas
