Okay!! Based on all the feedback, I think we’ve come to some conclusions!!! Sound? Definitely much better. However, there is still a slight hum in the background which I want to say is not from the mic, but from the motor of the fan running in the apartment above me (they did not insulate these walls). I’m going to try to film when the fan is off as much as possible and I’m going to turn the gain on the mic down a bit. This should help the hum be more subtle. Mic in frame? It’s about 50/50! So I’ll do the same for my future vids, some with it in frame and some not!! Triggers? We love em!!!! ❤️

So happy the mic is here!!! Its weird because im outside of Tampa and we had some storms but ive been getting a decent amount of sun too. I really enjoy a cloudy day because we know how much sun we get so those cloudy days are a nice break. Could you do an apt tap thru soon?😊

Got home other day at 4am exhausted definitely dont recommend driving home from florida 6 months pregnant lol. But yea had amazing time it was super hot lots of rain, but fun! i think its her air conditioning. :33 she lives in florida, but i think it adds some nice ambiance to her videos!! but its definitely not for everyone im sure :00
Hey Alyssa!! First of all, thank you for saying that so kindly!! So this time that buzzing is not from my mic. The people who built this apartment complex did not insulate between the floors. So whenever the people who live above me turn on the fan in the room directly above this one, you can hear the hum of the motor through the walls lol. They seem to keep the fan on a lot so it’s not something I can really avoid! I’ll lower the gain a bit on the next video to see if the mic picks up less of it!

I’ll keep doing my best with the sound, but there’s literally nothing I can do about that. If the people above or below me turn their fan on, the hum of the motor will be heard.
