Just catching up to all your videos. Great to see your making changes and growing. I will miss your glorious goldfish tank but what a great ride :) really enjoying watching the progress through this afternoon 😊
So excited to see this beautiful setup come to life!! That bogwood looks amazing with the sand and stones. I literally cheered when you said the rays and arrowana would be back 🙌 Would love some videos focusing on the care of both those types of fish, as I’m fascinated as to how to look after rays and whether it’s much different. Looking forward to the next update! 🐟
Excited to see the next one. By the way, it's a little hard for me to tell but is the bottom of your tank glass? If so any concerns about the weight of decor? I put some decorative rocks in mine way back and was constantly afraid it would crack it😅
Yes it's glass, I have a double base so it's double thickness. You can use egg crate to try and spread the load, however I'm not too worried with this size of rocks etc
I am disappointed in having the goldfish gone. Though not as exotic as the arrowana and rays I thought they were incredibly beautiful and underrated fish. I guess the only question left for me is what kind of arrowana it will be ? Asian or the other one?
I think the better choice would have been a flowerhorn. Same aggression but lots of personality. Can be tamed to hold and pet. Will greet you from across the room. Lots of fun to feed and grow
Hello, and happy fish keeping, I have a 125 gallon tank and I have 3 cascade filters, each with the capacity to move 100 gallons, the problem is that the bottom gets dirty, what do you think I should do to fix this?
Rip goldfish 😢 as much as I love sting rays and arrowana they are just not suited to fish tanks and being in the U.K. a heated pond just costs a fortune unless done indoors and for most that’s just not practical.

I agree. Goldfish have real personality too. Arrowana are just fashion fish. Very disappointing

Could you try using a wave maker or maybe some long airstones?
@AquaticElements Yes, how do you feel about an internal filter, do you think it would do the job?
You could get one just to provide some flow but a wave maker might be more controllable and flow directional
@AquaticElements Thank you so much, love your channel. 😃

Fair enough 👌
I’d say the tank is as good as a pond it huge lol
Prefer the goldfish tbh
