Its so good to hear the songs being performed by the guys who actually wrote and recorded these songs over the guys that are currently part of the main band.
as a person who loves these songs.... this XEB blows me away. these songs are going to last forever, especially every one that isn't a single. the beginning and latter half of this record holds true forever. ill keep commenting on these vids well after is seems appropriate.

, Maybe I'm feeling way way all right,, but I can't stop loving this freaking video. I'm literally by myself in my garage applauding after each song. They sound really good soothes my soul
23:39 imagine being the front man of the biggest band in the world in 1999, having someone as monstrously talented as kevin cadogan as your guitarist, being a pathologically jealous control freak, firing him, never writing another hit song in your life, and fading into obscurity. couldn't be me.
I remenber buying the album when it came out when i was in freshman in hs. Now im 40 years old realising the 1st album is golden. I never had the chance to play any song (from the 1st 3eb) with my band in in high school
Man these guys all used to play for thousands of people per show, but I can see they’re enjoying themselves on these small club shows, so kudos to them. I saw the original Third Eye Blind a few times before they fired Kevin, saw them a few times with Tony on guitar and then 3EB with Kryz on guitar for the first time this past summer. Cadogan was one solid half of the genius behind 3EB’s meteoric rise along with Jenkins; break that up and the band changes big time. Anyway, I give XEB a lot of praise for getting out there and touring in spite of Jenkins cease and desist notices. The whole story of Third Eye Blind is kind of tragic in the sense of all the lost potential.
Love the small venues... Seen them in Akron, Ohio dispite anxiety and phobia .... yeah I was the jumper..... shared the experience with my sons and hold it dear to my heart ..... and always will
Wow. I never knew Kevin and Tony were both in xeb. Tony is actually a great singer and does a great job doing SJ!s nuances. And I never realized Kevin wrote so many songs, cool to hear the stories behind them. He's such a humble guy, total opposite of SJ. Tony is just awesome. As is AS. Just need Brad!
I owe so much of my sense of self worth to the coolness and beauty of the work from these musicians - I wanted to just be at their level, that woulda been cool enough for me. Somehow now that they are hidden from the world apart from us sentimental types- they are even cooler.
I have seen Third Eye Blind three times with Stephan Jenkins and no disrespect to him still go see Third Eye Blind whenever they come to town but this is way better the guitar sound exact Tony vocals more than adequate the band's grooving sounds completely awesome this is a much better all-around show than seeing Third Eye Blind no questions about it
Saw one XEB show video with a different vocalist that couldn’t quite get it. This one is great, and therefore, overall the band sound is better than Stephan Jenkins’ covers of these songs.
I'm so excited . I'm sitting here, kind of nodding out from the codone I have to take. Doctor prescribed, but drinking a beer ,and smoking one ,and I got my eyes closed .. everyone should try that.. xeb is fucking getting it. Really good,, really good. everytime I look up old Third Eye Blind live stuff. not hating on Jenkins ,but kinda am, most live stuff,, he's so out of key all the time ,it makes it hard to enjoy.. now this, this here. They have a few moments where it's like ehh. Well I say 98% of it is on target, love third eye.. cheers
This is f****** beautiful. Third Eye Blind means the world to me. I really mean that. And I love Stephen Jenkins, I just wish he would come to his senses. Have Tony and Kevin on guitar, by no means give me wrong, Tony's very strong singer. He actually stays in key better than Jenkins. But anyways get Stephen and Brad back, include Tony. Record some material. Can you imagine what a big deal that would be. They could truly have a second coming get back on top one more time. I hope it happens I really do. And I think Tony and Kevin are amazing guitar players. I love what Tony did with the later albums, and Kevin is one of my all-time favorite guitarist. I've been playing for 30 years, so I study what I hear, both Kevin and Tony ,are amazing players and writers. Well here's 2 hopeful thinking.. I'm a follower of Christ, going to see if I can pray this one to reality. Dear heavenly father, and Christ Our King and savior.. I seriously pray to you to help the guys of Third Eye Blind rekindle their amazing musical chemistry and friendship in Jesus name I pray amen
@Myles Smith if they could just get back together it would be beautiful. Unfortunately at this point it seems more likely the Gallagher brothers will get back together
I just think to myself if Blink-182 figured it out…If Guns N Roses figured it out…why not Third Eye Blind?! Imagine Stephan and Kevin on stage together again my god the thought gives me chills 😱
Man “Graduate” was a POWERHOUSE song “CAN I GRADUATE, CAN I GRADUATE, CAN I GRADUATE, CAN I GRADUATE, CAN I GET MY PUNK ASS OFF THE STREET”🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I like this much more than the 2016 version with that other guy. Tony is great. Glad you guys got together. Still like Stephen's voice but I know he's a douche
This was awesome. I've seen 3eb four times beginning around 1999, and the last time was around 2006. This is that awesome sound that we all miss. I actually think Tony sounds better live then Jenkins.
What a solid show - loved the first two albums. The creative spark that SJ and Kevin had was undeniable. It’s ashame we will never know if that spark would continue. The good thing is the songs from those releases have stood the test of time. While SJ gets bashed (and he should on a regular basis) I wonder if his mothers alcoholism had an affect on him. Children of alcoholics tend to be control freaks. I am no doctor, but I wonder if SJs behavior is somewhat based on that (or he could just be a total jerk). That said, I can appreciate his positive contributions to the band. Surprised at how good of a singer Tony is- he sounds better than SJ in concert. He needs to work on the stage rap. Arion is solid and love his bass work - hope all his past troubles are behind him. And lastly, 3eb was the solid guitar work from Kevin. Hope he puts out an instrumental or soundtrack in the near future…I think that would be amazing. Great show - good luck gentlemen
I dunno I still have hope they can reunite. I mean smashing pumpkins basically reunited and I can't believe SJ is a bigger asshole than Billy but maybe SJ is
Ahhh, budget cuts. They sound good but it would be such a nice touch if they added a keyboard player maybe even a second guitarist.... the original lead singer’s band has some or all of that, fills out the sounds nicely. And al the delay effects etc in that bands guitarist make things more interesting too. But the power of the people singing along is undeniable. Sounds great...powerful. Real.
This is exactly what 3eb should be doing...a few years back I saw Collective Soul and aside from a few other popular songs they played their classic 1999 album,. Dosage, front to back ... The band looked older and I suppose it's because they ARE OLDER!!! Haha but it was very classy as they've always been a very classy band. Stephen Jenkins on the other hand, nearly 60 years old, has surrounded himself with young hipsters and prances around on stage in a skirt singing about political correctness and cops vs phone girls. SJ...what's a phone girl?
most of them are played near 1 to 1 with the record. tony plays acoustic on the couple songs where it's actually important like 'jumper' (14:00), how's it gonna be (23:00), 'i want you' (45:30), motorcycle drive by (55:10) if you don't know who the singer is, idk that's on you. the real shame is he didnt get to play any lead and SJ forced them to stop playing live before they could play blue and ootv
It’s good, but sorry third eye blind will always be third eye blind when Stephan Jenkins is the lead singer. He has a distinct voice that when you hear it you know immediately it’s them. I’m sorry for the ugly history between all of them, but that’s the truth. I love new third eye blind and I’ve seen them 10 times and they were amazing this November and they played old stuff and it sounded great. I love that there are younger members cause it fuels the band and creativity and keeps it fresh and this is from a 90s fan.
ok I can respect your input on the band and THIS BAND bc Cadogan DID write MOST of ALL the songs off this album. I just didn't find it respectable that Jenkins tried to make sure Kevin didn't get any of the royalties from the songs he CO WROTE off this album or even the "BLUE" album .. that'd be like buying a piece of commercial real estate with a business partner where the head owner of the LLC tries to make sure I don't get any of my earned profits of the assets. Greed is NOT good when it comes to business and Jenkins was a greedy motherfucker
Sure, adds a bit of creativity BUT on the other hand you've got a pretentious asshole prancing around in a skirt cause he's such a hipster...at 60 fucking years old!
Its so good to hear the songs being performed by the guys who actually wrote and recorded these songs over the guys that are currently part of the main band.
this is great that these guys get together to this. It's nuts seeing Kevin and Tony both up there together. vocals are solid
as a person who loves these songs.... this XEB blows me away. these songs are going to last forever, especially every one that isn't a single. the beginning and latter half of this record holds true forever. ill keep commenting on these vids well after is seems appropriate.
I would like to build something. 2020 this still hits. nobody likes London bois
The bookends are the core of this sound! What a fantastic album!
Watching Kevin play guitar on this is like a gift from above. Just wow. Arion is so solid. I don’t know what else to say.
Was such a beautiful show

Tony sounds like the album version of Stephan , amazing !
Absolutely perfect. What they were meant to sound like live!

Saw these guys at Farm Brew Live in Manassas Virginia last night. Very good!
I grew up on metal, the heavy stuff, total headbanger, however, this is my favorite album of all time, from any band.
Same here
I feel that. I listen to a lot of variety but 3eb has legit musicianship and hooks that kill
It's magical rediscovering this album over 20 years later
Thanks a lot.
Dude this is incredible!! Love all of it but “How’s it Gonna Be” is the best version I’ve ever heard
Absolutely GOLDEN lineup.
I want you. ...is nostalgia to me
They killed it!Great show from start to finish
Damn this sounds so good. It's a shame that ego and greed from Stephen destroyed 3EB's potential.
It’s soul crushing to think what would have been had Stephan not been who he is

Yup FUCK JENKINS he is such a teenager in his late 50’s
Absolutely. Breaks me heart for what could have been
Well said - Ashame we will never know what could have been with Kevin and SJ
Guitar and bass are on point! These guys are the core of 3EB!
The instrumentation is spot on! Sounds just like the recorded album.

I saw them at the Troubador in LA, it was one of the most memorable nights of my life. it was always about the music, not the ego.

Makes me wonder if Tony ever provided “ghost vocals” for SJ?
NIce !!!!!
Now that sounds like 3EB!!! They could never sound that good live with SJ .
"Separation" would have gone down as one of the best 3EB songs, but instead is one of Kevin's best.

idk what youre smoking, we know for a fact it did not continue lmao.
Great comments
It’s interesting that Stephan jenkins mother alcoholism affected him.
Sounds similar to how Chevy chase’s parents physically and verbally abused him
tony absolutely SMOKES SJ on lead vocals ten ways to sunday, AND he can rip on guitar with kevin!
Is this the original drummer? Because it’s rather fire. 🔥
Surprisingly, no.
