Using the still relatively new mode of transport, countries became better connected through faster journey times and airmail. This incredible new technology would be a driving force behind rapid modernization throughout the world in the years to come.

Amazing!!!!!!!! I see the Brits actually, brief as Hell though it was, but actually noticed a miniscule amount of contributions in flight by someone other themselves. I say good show mates. Maybe 100's of years from now they may even mention the Wright brothers. 😎

Nice archive materials! For the record: at 21:23 the four-engined airliner is a Junkers Ju 90 rather than a Focke-Wulf Fw200 Condor. The latter one is shown starting at 22:03.

I pay $$$ for UA-cam Premium to avoid ads. You insert ads into the program. Not cool. Cheap.

Would have been nice to watch without the crappy, awful, hideous 1970s porn music. What were they thinking? Ridiculously inappropriate; upbeat music intended for the c.mshot plays over descriptions of air disasters. Had to stop watching this abortion of a documentary.
