    Being lyrium mages would make so much sense,I theorize the titans woke up with the veil collapsing causing anyone with dormant dwarven magic to be able to use it.also it looks like the magic solas used in the end,maybe he tapped into dwarven magic?

      @@DarthShadie so I have this theory hear me out it's a weird one,so we aren't told how enchantments are made but I always assumed it was made by inlaying lyrium into a stone to create a pseudo magic glyph or circle,under that thought process it's possible that came to be due to dwarves loosing their magic and needing a way to tap into arcane energy.

    Speaking of faction representatives, do we know who will be our contacts in the shadow dragons along the lines of Evka and Antione, Viago and Teia, Strife and Myrion etc? Or the Lords of Fortune? Those are the only two I’m blanking on 😅
    Also I am so glad I’m not the only one who noticed the red lyrium mushrooms look like corruption we’ve seen before in behind the scenes stuff!!
    One thing I have been wanting to do, is put a bunch of those frames that look like they’re in the same place side by side to compare and contrast.

    • @DarthShadie
      @DarthShadie  23 дні тому +1

      @@AlliCassandra Lords of Fortune, I am guessing Hollix and Barhv, who were in Tev8mter Nights. Shadow Dragons, I am hoping Dorian shows up, so perhaps Maeveris or Marius. Marius would make a lot of sense. He has worked with Dorian (assuming Dorian appears as an advisor or similar to Morrigan), has ties to the Inquisition, whether Calpernia lives or hot, ties through her to insight about the Venatori even if he is against them. He dould have joined the Shadow Dragons. He is a mage-killer. Going after the Venatori makes sense.

    Aww, I'm living for lore breakdowns while we counting days till release. Yours is absolutely lovely 🥰 Hope you don't mind me sharing some observations and theories too? 🤭
    I think dagon on a tower may be ordinary high dragon controlled by Elgarnan\Mythal\High Priest of Mythal aka Morrigan or Inquisitor, depending on who drank from the Wheel of Sorrows. Or it is Mythal\Morrigan\Inquisitor themselves shapeshifted into dragon. I don't think it is Elgarnan, because he turns into much bigger and cooler dragon later. Unless that giant dragon at the end actually is Mythal, who was secret villain all along. Drama.
    It's widely speculated Lucanis may be our new abomination. He is allegedly died in the novel and his taro card is full of very suspicious purple eyes, so it is possible he indeed died and some spirit posessed and resurrected him, or took his face and slipped through Veil like Cole. Since spirits often misunderstand methaphors and titles, it could have tried to turn the Crow into a crow, hence the wings. And his nickname is The Demon, like.. cmon, could they make it more obvious? 😅
    Last time titan woke up because of the Britch and give magic powers to Volta. Veil probably keeping titans asleep. Because it holds by a thread after all the damage made by Corypheus and Solas, and Evanuris as well, they waking up, and this is how Harding got her powers. I have a strong suspicion Titans are Forgotten gods from the legend about Fen'Harel. The second pantheon besides Evanuris he tricked and locked forever in their respective domain. It would imply Evanuris and elven were at war with titans and Sha Britols (who are proto-dwarves, let's face it). Like every dwarf have irrational fear of falling into sky, but it most likely not irrational, because if at some point everything outside titans body was the Fade with it's wonky gravity, it would be super easy to fly away to the sky. Also, maybe that giant sceleton in Necropolis is the titan and maybe he is reasonable and one of Solas' old pals, who let him walk among them. Maybe he could help us mess up Elgarnan and Ghil'lanain? Very curious about all the implications of old larger than life enemies coming back, and also feel very sorry for tiny squishy mortals stuck between them 🤕
    That destroyed tower near Tash is most likely in Anderfels, if you look closer people standing around it are Grey Wardens, and the same spiky wooden fence appears behind blue and red blighted dragons. It makes me believe this dragons indeed last two surviving Archdemons. Apparently we going to be there to hunt them, because Tash walking up the stairs holding metal rod or spear, and later red dragon snaps it out of it's shoulder. They are also NOT shapeshifted Ghilan'nain or Elgarnan, because at one shot you can see them standing next to each other. Maybe Ghil controlling them with blight, as Corypheus did with his dragon🤔Dunno.
    Also it made me think about nature of Archdemons and origins of blight. It honestly look like Ghil is the source of it, like it is one of her creations and it's not as random and chaotic as it may seam on the surface. We know from Solas and Vir Dirthara that sentient spirits are rare and precious creatures, we also know spirit turns into a demon - deformed version of itself - when it exposed to unnatural enviroment or wandered of from it's original purpose. We know benevolent spirits were integral part of ancient elven society, but some of them were "taking wrong shapes" and got banished or killed for it (as alluded in few notes in Vir Dirthara). What if Archdemons are those rare and powerful spirits that wondered off to far and took wrong shape? So they fled to Abyss undergoung to domain of elven's mortal enemies - Titans, to survive. Ghil created dark spawn and enchanted them to do two things: spread deadly virus all over enemy territory, and hunt down "mis-shapen" deserters? When archdemons got ill with blight, they freaked out and did what demons do - posessed the hoard of darkspawn and went on the surface to hurt back it's former masters - elven. It would explain why darkspawns usually preoccupied with destroying dwarves drop everything and go up once they find Archdemon. It also explains, why Mythal would count that monstrocity as piece of old beauty worth saving through Dark Ritual. It's somewhat the same thing we do in Solas' loyalty mission, where we help pride demon return to it's original form. It also would explain manipulation Mythal and Solas do with old god's soul - it's various forms of benefitial spirit possetion, similar to Avvar's practise. And it would explain why Solas get's so irrationally pissed off at Grey Wardens for attempting to hunt down and kill Archdemons to stop Blights in DAI. If this theory turns out to be true, I wonder if we could help last Archdemons find their true form and make them our allies? It would be so cool.
    Last blighted red place is definetly Minrathos, because there is flying ring castle in the sky we seen before. I think Solas can turn into Dread Wolf at will as shapeshifter, just as Mythal and Morrigan and HoF-mage cant turn into dragons and other various animals, it just his preferred skin so to speak. He seamed to be fond of wolfes during DAI, and in comparison to normal wolf his version is freaking enormous 😁 I know it speculated those murals with Dread Wold looming over him or standing in opposition could be signs that DW is separate from Solas, but I think it's more metaphorical. Like he embracing the mission Dread Wold represents, or feeling burdained with what Dread Wolf turned into by currupted legend and doesn't want to be associated with that, ect.

      @@tj3603 Thanks. 😊
      The thing in Lucanis's eyes is he can detect magic as a prickling in the back of his eyes. I think the depictions are that. He also faked his death. He was called The Demon in Tevinter Nights by the Venatori hunting him. I could see BioWare deciding to make him an abomination, but all these factors happened before his alleged death that has much evidence was faked. Hence why I am more scepticalthat he would be an abomination. If he is, it would have to be for different reasons and through different circumstances.
      Very possible for the swarves and titans.
      Yeah, I too am more inclined to think the deagons are the Old Gods, the ones with blue and red lyrium.
      Yeah, it's very possible the depictions of Solas separate are symbolic rather than literal.

    Is the general consensus that the old tevinter dragon gods are different from the old elvem gods? Is there any connection like a tevinter dragon old god corresponds to an elven god, similar to how corephyous had a sort of corresponding dragon? Can they take the form of dragons, like flemmeth/mythal often does? The analysis you gave was awesome and detailed! 😃 thank you!

    • @DarthShadie
      @DarthShadie  23 дні тому +4

      @@C0ldFlame2682 I theorised for the longest time they were the same. Then adapted to a connection that might have them be different but linked, like the keepers or high dragons to keep them alive (like with Coryoheus). Or perhaps the Old Gods are the Forgotten Ones. There are 7, and 7 Evanuris were locked away. The golden city is probably the same city as the prison, so there is a link, we just don't know what. I want the link to be what makes the most sense for the story and lore.
      Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. 😊

    In some of the promo material, you can see vials with purple liquid on Lucanis, so I'm guessing it's some kind of pseudo-magical potion, kind of like Witchers?

      @DarthShadie  23 дні тому

      Oh, that makes sense. I know he carries poison darts with him too, so I had assumed it was that, but potion to have that ability totally makes sense. It would be cool if this potion was made by Viago, who is known for his concoctions.

    Since we know Solas orchestrated the Thedas as we know it (post-elven god era) I believe that Solas had somehow lulled the titans to sleep and sapped their magic, which is why we can see Harding and Solas turn people to stone. Solas being trapped in the fade seems like the beginning of many problems.
    Davrin and Taash (my two faves) got much less screen and talking time than the others, but we still have the companion showcase coming up.
    Also, I’m wondering if Neve and Rook’s romance scene is red because of the eclipse, or if it’s afternoon? Either way, the lighting is beautiful and actually reminds me of Clarke and Lexa’s most romantic scene in The 100 so it actually evokes a lot of emotions and nostalgia in me.
    Speaking of the red light, if the god of night is red themed then the eclipse being related to magic and casting a red glow actually makes a lot of sense.
