Kang is here to setup the fantastic 4 as we can't fully vanquish Kang without them so by time we get the avengers event where they fight Kang for the last time we will have established the mutants celestial and the living tribunal in all the movies leading to it so I suspect like Brolin, majors will be in the MCU for a good decade. I also assume now that MCU has almost every single IP rights back, they will give us even more of what we want in future movies.
Bro here’s my theory about miss minute: Miss minutes is actually Ravana renslayer.. in comics she was kang’s girlfriend and (as she cannot live forever), so in MCU kang transferred her conscious into miss minutes.. I am telling this because revona Didn’t turn against TVA or “the man in charge” even after knowing that she and every TVA agent is a variant, that’s how kang know she will understands him and will not betray him. Also kang says “she still calling me that” after Loki and Sylvie ask him if he is who he remains.. that means kang is referring to miss minutes as if he knows her in person/ human form and they been together for long time/ or in infinite realities, so he finds it adorable that revona still calls him he who remains (the man in charge) after all this time. Also miss minutes was responding to non verbal cues of revona in previous episode when sylvie was asking about TVA’s history. The files miss minutes have given to revona maybe relating to how kang’s made her into miss minutes or about her destiny (going to find if free will exists) and might have asked her to go to a specific reality where he really exists/ hiding
Kang pruned mostly Lokis out of the timeline because he knew that they were most likely to find him beyond the end of time. Remember that he said he knew everything that Loki and sylvie would do. That means that he lived through every attempt on his life, kind of like Dr. Strange did when he was checking the possibilities on titan. That is also what he meant by threshold, because that version of him never lived beyond that moment in the other trials. He’s stuck in a long loop, beginning to end of the universe and god knows for how many times. That is enough to turn anyone into a lunatic.
If you go back in time and change things, that creates a branch reality where yours you came from still exists if you can get back to that moment you left in precision. But it creates a new future if you stay in the past you changed. This is why multiversial theory exists. Going back in your own past will change the future of a timeliness you've never been apart of. But it also will change the future(if already written) in the version you came from. Time travel and the multiverse is easy to grasp but hard to articulate with limited vocabulary of self or peers. Rocket science is easy to a rocket scientist but rocket science to a cashier at the Gap is magic. All in all this a very smart move for the MCU as they can still produce new comic stories that exist in their own universes and now the MCU universe becomes its own timeliness that sits and fits in well with what the comics already do with differing stories derived from different universes. It's why in the very beginning they declared that our MCU earth was not 616 but another version. Its the most genius way to be able to do whatever with your MCU characters now and going future including newly acquired properties without confusing the actual die hard fan base. While also setting their own rules for MCU storytelling where we simply won't be able to easily theory craft from. It's simply a genius move. "Let's set it up where we can continue to produce amazing comics, tell stories but be able to canonly differentiate the movies from the literature now. Also a good way to break ties with Sony over Spiderman until they can aquire the last bit of rights away and bring it home to Marvel once again after 20 plus years. What a dodgy move to play on Sony lmao. Sony relies on Spiderman profits so much they might as well sell them to Disney and then find new IT'S, better writers and studio heads that allow more creativity. Anyway, thats my rant. Great season of Loki and cannot wait for the What If series. Black panther in space is gonna be the most fire episode, watch.
@@jamssy3409 conversely, you can be appreciative while not being shocked due to a concept you've already known being done in a great way. To those of us who've expanded our horizons, what Marvel's doing is not particularly new, it just happens to be done in a way we can all appreciate
It’s crazy that kang has been Orchestrating and manipulating every event in the timeline in the MCU everything was meant to happen because Khan was controlling everything from the beginning
The reason Kang's acting over the top is that he is millions of years old and the human mind isn't designed to function that long. Kang is literally crazy at this point.
This is what makes the actor so amazing, because the next time we see him... He'll be a lot more egotistical and imposing.. We saw a very humble version
@@PlayaP69 Nae, his performance was great don't get me wrong, but being able to perform multiple iterations of the same person to a high degree among a variety of projects is the pinnacle of acting ability
Something I just noticed…During Kang’s speech he says it can go one of two ways and specifically mentions plunging her blade in his chest…which we know is what happened. Not the head or the neck or the gut. Also when he takes off his time twister he slides it very carefully across his desk to a specific spot…a spot where Sylvie will be able to reach it so she can expel Loki and kill Kang. It’s like poetry it rhymes.
@@fortunetaco4585 he definitely knew, why else would he tell them they crossed the threshold and doesnt know what would happen? He was bulletining, either choice they made he was going to be happy cause he was going to come back if killed and he was gonna ride off in the sunset if they didn't kill him
This version of Kang was probably the most benevolent. I’m stoked to see him cranked to 11. He did a very very good job. Marvel kills it with their casting.
Jonathan Majors is going to make an amazing and terrifying Kang. As usual Marvel killed it with this casting and it has me very hyped for the future of the MCU. Loki was completely terrified at the end of the episode.
@@bbd1603 I don't understand shit. Thanos didn't win in that timeline because Sylvie killed this Kang? So this storyline took place before Infinity War? Right after the New York battle?
Picture the sacred timeline as Kang's fixed storyline. Although the sacred timeline encompassed other timelines woven together like a rope, the only narrative permitted by Kang was the narrative of the current MCU as we know it. This is why variants within other timelines were pruned by the TVA, to ensure that the narrative continued and always led to Kang's desired outcome. Hope this makes sense!
I would love to know how the marvel phases and storyline is created. Maybe eventually they will do a behind the scenes movie of the creation of all the movies. Has to be planned several years ahead.
@@cclark3 I think they did fall in love, and that's why Sylvia stayed her sword when Loki appeared in front of Kang and then pushed him through the "door" to get him out of the way so she could finish the job instead of killing him.
I just remember after end game everyone thought the next big bad was finna be galactus. Galactus is just a forgotten memory after they said that Loki was finna have a big role in the mcu when it was about time
Thanos dies Galactus - Everyone think I’m going to be there next. Just waiting for marvel to reply. “Reveals Loki is going to impact” Galactus- I’m fine they just introducing the multiverse so I can come in. Still waiting for that reply. “Loki episode 6 comes out” Galactus - WHAT THE F***
The one thing I've learned from this show: You can't trust Marvel trailers! They put so many alternate shots into the trailers that don't match up with the actual scenes in the shows that it's like _they're_ from an alternate reality.
Why I stopped watching Trailers for shows/movies more than a decade ago. Even in theatres I'll be on my phone through the previews till my movie starts - I want to go into everything with a clear mind, no biases/expectations
Did anyone else notice that while Loki is running through the archives, his movements aren't really fluid like he doesn't appear from behind the next shelf exactly when he should if it was one fluid motion.. I think that part symbolizes him running through the TVA while many different branches are being created, finally landing him in the one where Mobius doesn't know him
That's the first thing I noticed when I watched the episode, because I'm spoiled by film making usually a camera passing through objects hide hidden cuts and I noticed every time it passed a bookshelf, Lokis movement changed. One he was walking, then running, then walking confused, then walking again
What if Sylvie and Loki's nexus event in Lamentis was actually "dying" in the apocalypse? If they died, no one would get to Immortus (He who remained) and kill him and the Multiversal War could not have happened, so this means that it was all supposed to happen.
but then they would've detected after their deaths and i know they could've detected it afetr their deaths and jsut got to them a bit earlier in time to save them, but the way it was portrait it looked like it was the romance between them that caused the branch
Honestly when I watched the episode and saw the 2 options presented, I knew this was going to be REALLY HARD. Option 1: Loki and Sylvie become the new rulers of TVA. This sounds terrible because the TVA goes against the principles of free will. Avengers Loki would have loved it but our current Loki has evolved so much past the point that he realizes that he can't do it. It would continue his loop, he gets to be 'king of all time' but at the expense of everyone's happiness and free will. Sylvie was a fine example of this where her entire life was ruined by the TVA just because she existed. Option 2: Kill Kang and let chaos go crazy which would unlock 'worse Kangs'. Sylvie chooses this because she was so driven by revenge and in a sense continues her Loki loop. Our Loki has surpassed himself as he has seen that if he continues his loop, it would only bring suffering, isolation and unhappiness, and he tries to stop Sylvie from her loop but fails. He lived that life before and didn't want Sylvie to go down the path he did, but she kind of 'becomes him' enacting revenge on Kang. And what a brilliant line he says 'I just want you to be ok' because he can see his former self in her and hopes that with his love, she wouldn't go to the dark side. Unfortunately, Syvlie pushes him away because she's like 'screw love, I just want my revenge'. Love wasn't her priority, not at this time. Love to her was simply a distraction. Loki knows that both options are terrible but was trying to have a discussion with Sylvie to see if he could find a 'best of both worlds answer' but in her emotionally charged state, option 2 was obviously the most attractive to her but after she kills Kang, she realizes the anticlimax. That in her selfishness, she has unleashed hell upon the universe. But actually if you think about it, there probably is no middle ground. Kang knows that there is actually only 1 option: letting lose the multiverse. Because he knows that Loki and Sylvie will not pick Option 1. He's actually not worried about dying because he literally thinks he has mastered the past, present and future. He is immortal because he knows there will always be Kangs out there. Maybe initially he thought that having a dictatorship over the entire universe was the way to go, but now that he sees that Loki and Sylvie were able to make it this far and confront him, he sees 'hey, maybe I can get this to work for me. Maybe I don't just get 1 universe to rule, maybe I can rule MULTIPLE universes' and possibly, he already knew that Sylvie would eventually 'kill him' and kick-off his conquest of multiple universes. So in a way, Kang has played Loki and Sylvie. He actually wins despite 'dying'. I think Loki has become so self-aware that he can see that it is a trap that's why he tries to stop Sylvie but alas, she falls for it and now Loki has to think about how to prepare for the 'attack of the Kangs' and now realizes that now that 'worse Kangs' are out there, the whole universe is gonna suck a whole lot more. At first I thought that the TVA would cease to exist without 'good Kang' but it turns out, 'worse Kangs' now run the TVA so the TVA technically still exists. So the question is will we get our Mobius back? Or Loki will have to do the '50 first dates' all over again to get a Mobius to trust him? It seems now with this change, Lokis, like you said, are not a major threat and new Mobius doesn't even recognize a Loki as a Loki, he just asks 'oh what is your position, who are you?' . The show totally looks like it went 'Back to the Future' where Loki is the constant but everything changes around him as time modifies. And yup, this would certainly be a job for Dr Strange and Wanda to fix with Loki possibly helping on the side.
When Kang is shown dead in his chair he is posed like the Lincoln Memorial statue. Right leg stretched out, left leg pulled in, right hand gripping the chair arm, left hand more relaxed. Is this intentional symbolism? Like Lincoln trying to keep the country from dividing, Kang was trying to maintain a united timeline? Or something like that?
Since Silvie was able to bring back old memories by enchanting the TVA agents and now Loki learned how to enchant while fighting Alioth, do you think he will try to enchant Mobius in the next season to help him remember?
“We just crossed… the threshold.” Majors’ expression/tonal change was so clear. He’s a great actor/villain 😈 “And they all lead here… but never further.” Like The Ancient One, not seeing beyond her life, He Who Remains couldn’t see past that moment in “time.” Same thunder? in the backgrounds of those scenes. 🤯 Lokis had the chance to take over, like Dr. Strange, but Sylvie released chaos instead. So Dr. Strange/Spider-Man and friends must correct their mistake.
The one who break the loop is actually loki, he did it by doing something no other loki in existense do, doing something for someone else instead of himself, not sylvie because she did what other loki did betray other and ignoring the consuquence of her action thus trap herself in loki loop, you know do a thing-betray other-lose, thus she actually can kill kang was thanks to loki breaking the loop in the first place
When kang died I thought it was like when the Sorcerer Supreme couldn’t see past her death, thus making me believe that no matter what. You cant look past from when you die
But this also means when Dr. Strange viewed 14 million potential futures to try to beat Thanos... There could have been many more than one. But only one where they won AND Dr. Strange survived.
We will see the impact of this much sooner than 2 years thru the upcoming movies. Spidey and Dr. Strange will definitely touch on the multiverse outbreak.
Whatever this called, I'm just glad. With this kind of budget they could make this in to 2 hours movie, instead we got 5 house of storyline. 2 years seem reasonable compared to movie release schedule.
I think kang was tired of always knowing everything and always keeping order. You can see he’s almost giddy to get to the point where he stops knowing, and he is excited at every little thing that happens after he loses sight. He got to witness a show in those last few minutes of his life by dividing the lokis and leaving it to chance.
However like he said it was only 2 ways it would end, Loki takes his spot or Loki kills and other Kangs Rule so at the end he still knew it was only choices even if he couldn't see which one Loki decided
MCU's chaotic story lines are actually making me question my reality so hard I think I shit my soul out...just when I thought my ongoing existential crisis couldn't get any worse 🤔
@@HammerLeaf you’re right but humans have done pretty well to get this far. even if it is just depicting all of this on tv, we are low-key smart as hell
Did you noticed that the way ' He who remains ' presented the events when he was explaining to Lokis was pretty similar to the way EGO presented his story to Starlord in GOTG Vol 2.
You mean skirting around another purpose, conveniently leaving out key bits of information that would reveal their TRUE motive? Yea. it did feel that way.
Now everything make sense, why Eternals need to intervene, why Wanda and Doctor Strange is together to correct the reality "Nexus being", why Spiderman is in No Way Home , why we have the Jane Foster as the New Thor and the entrance of Fantastic Four, all is now falling to places 😍😍😍
Ya this phase is gonna be massive. Imagine a huge endgame-style battle with all of the parallel universe heroes of the MCU fighting an army of Kangs and brainwashed TVA agents. Gonna be insane.
My thoughts on Loki’s ending: he is in a different universe. In the explanation of He Who Remains we see his variants using those temporal doors to cross over, the same way the TVA does when they hunt down a branched reality. Sylvie pushes Loki through the door, after new branches were formed. He is in the multiverse but at the same point in time, because the multiverse is happening all at once.
I just finished the show and been somewhat obsessed with theorys. Out of everything this random comment makes the most sense hyped for season 2 eventually.
But how TVA could have a multiversal versions when they hunt variants across the multiverse cause Sylvie is Loki an other universe and Sylvie in the show is a variant of that Sylvie?
@@lenakataeva7525 that's not it. up until Sylvie killed Kang, the show "Loki" (and the entire MCU) was in one single universe *the sacred timeline* . Kang explained it, he cut off ONE universe and controls it - The sacred timeline - writing how events should go, and every time it doesn't go how he planned - the TVA (his creation) show up and fix it. Think of it as a tree that wants to grow branches but all the branches are cut off except for one path of how Kang wants the history to unfold. Sylvie is not from another universe, she is from OUR universe (The sacred timeline), she literally IS our Loki. it's just that at one point, she dreamed of saving Asgard, which was a Nexus event, so the tva showed up, took her and reset her timeline. So now she (he) grows up to be _our_ mischievous villain Loki, while the variant the tva took escaped and grew up to be our Sylvie. Just like the Show's Loki, who escaped from New York (which wasn't supposed to happen) so the tva took him and reset the timeline - so that Loki walks the path intended for him, dying in IW, while the variant becomes our main character. It all was one universe. the TVA exists in ONE universe. Lokis we saw are not like Peter Parkers, they are truly one person from one universe, while Peter Parkers are from different universes, "Spiderman" being a concept that ties them, they just happen to be named Peter Parker with similar but still different faiths and origins (because in infinite number of universes there eventually will be a few individuals named "Peter Parker" who also are "Spiderman") So, Sylvie killing Kang unleashed the Multiverse, opening our previously isolated Sacred Timeline to infinite other universes. In a number of those universes, variants of Kang are the rulers, each having its own TVA (per universe). Loki in the last scene ended up in a different universe in a different TVA, that happens to have a Mobius and a Hunter B15 in it.
@@eugeniamarch I still don't understand how Peter Parkers are from different universes but Lokis not. Sylvie said that her parents meaning Odin and Frigga told her that she is adopted. It never happened in our Loki timeline. So it must be another universe. Then when she dreamed about being a hero she breached her timeline. Also I'm confused why Loki is Sylvie. Did he changed his gender at birth, at 6 y o? Then it's also another universe bc in our Loki timeline Loki is mostly male (I mean we don't know whether he was a female but it was a short period of time cause apparently no one noticed) Or these events (changing gender and telling about adoption) should have breached timeline not the dreaming of becoming a hero.
@@lenakataeva7525 okay so it's blurry but if marvel going further won't contradict this, it's the most logical and consistent answer to how MCU works. I think Frigga and Odin telling Sylvie she is adopted is precisely the reason why she was a "good" Loki. Remember, all of Loki's trauma came from the fact that he was adopted and nobody told him (Loki screams at Odin "you could have told me from the beginning, why didn't you?"). He thought he was a prince, a worthy heir, and yet Odin never treated him as such, "you favoured Thor all this time". This was what led Loki to become a mischievous skunk, angry at the world. But if he was told he was adopted from the beginning, he would've known he wasn't a heir, and would've found a different path in life (in Sylvie's case - becoming a hero). Which obviously wasn't in the script, so the TVA show up. The gender thing is simply Loki's genderfluidity and shapeshifting on top of it, he doesn't have a specific gender or sex. If Loki was looking up at Valkyries as his heroes, and they are all women, it would make a lot of sense for him to want to be like them and take on female form and identity. After being taken by the TVA, i guess Sylvie just had no reason to change back and since then she is female presenting. (i used "he" pronounce for loki for easier grammar and communication) For Sylvie to be from another universe just doesn't make any sense. It's literally stated that Kang controls and writes the script for one universe. The sacred timeline is presented as ONE single line, and every time a different choice is being made - it branches off (and tva works to erase it and maintain the one sacred timeline). Unfortunately this lore is so complex there's a high possibility that marvel writers will get confused and mess it up, and Sylvie might be made to be from another universe, but until then - this is the way the MCU works that makes the most sense.
@@fanoos3373 Him not seeing time the same way and being able to manipulate it is kind of like when you complete those labirynthe on the back of the cereal box by starting by looking the end and making your way to the begining. He didn't have to manipulate anything exept suttle changes maybe but he just looked at the road with the ending that suits him, being the one with the lokis in front of him with the choice they have to make, and cut the branches that don't benefit in any of it. That's also why he can't know what happened next, because he started by the end being the two lokis on the chair having to make a choice. That's also why that moment is the treshold. He didn't modify any of it after that moment.
[1:30] Kang told Loki and Sylvie that he had paved the path for them which they followed to meet him(Kang). So, I think that when Loki followed Sylvie from Roxxcart, the order of events became a part of the "Sacred Timeline" under Kang's so called "Creative Adjustments". They were destined to meet Kang. So when they were about to die on Lamentis, the TVA got alerted. Because if you think about it, no matter what Sylvie and Loki did on Lamentis, it should not have made a branch alerting the TVA as they were hiding in an apocalypse where it is impossible to create a timeline. Even if they fell in love, it wouldn't have made any difference as they were still going to die. This proves that them surviving Lamentis to meet Kang was part of Kang's plan.
oh my god I wondered why the nexus event happened and this makes much more sense.......I went with Mobius's theory of 'them falling in love' but according to them again both loki and sylvie weren't supposed to live.....if that is so then why would it have made a difference if they catch feelings or not???? so no that's not it.. I also thought maybe it's because they were dying but again apparently if they weren't supposed to live then why the TVA still got the alert? that's becuz all that just happened....was supposed to happen.... they were both supposed to meet kang beyond the end of time.....so kang gave the alert himself
Loki himself said it that even if you do anything it wont cause a nexus because everything will be wipe out either way so yea them meeting Kang was part of the sacred timeline
Reunite yes but hopefully not for good. Loki sees his brother and Thor gets to see the potential Loki always had. Imagine this variant Loki gets to go back to his timelines Thor. How confused everyone would be at that character development I definitely would love to see that.
I just find it amazing how Kang’s power makes Thanos look like a little bug. I remember watching infinity war and endgame thinking that Thanos was the all powerful.
It makes sense that miss minutes is being controlled by someone else since Kang was surprised that miss minutes still has a nickname for him, but also would mean that whoever is controlling miss minutes is afraid of Loki because she offers a deal if they drop it all.
I don't think Kang I'm Quantumania will be like this. He was this manic because this version was million s if not billions of years old. He's been by himself trying to keep things from going awry. So the Kang we get I bet is much more evil and direct, a lot less manic. But I would love to be wrong because Majors absolutely crushed this interpretation of a mashup of He Who Remains and Immortus.
The best argument that I have for the Kang statue TVA being a different universe, is that when we see Mobius and B15 looking at the monitor saying "no turning back now", his hair is quite ruffled up. When Loki finds Mobius and B15, his hair looks combed, or at least in better shape. I truly think he somehow ended up in a different reality
I've watched the finale 3x already. Majors performance was phenomenal - and his explanation of himself and his evil doppleganger that's coming and the balance of the timeline was just sooooo good.
I think another thing that I found interesting was Loki saying that Kang was terrifying. Up into that point I didn't pick up on the fact that Loki was scared. But I did notice how quiet he was, he paid attention to everything kang for saying. But when he started talking to Mobius you can really hear the fear.
I love how the "threshold" point that Kang mentioned crossing, where he no longer knows what is going to happen, syncs near perfect with the moment that Wanda becomes Scarlett Witch in Wandavision. Both take place in the last episodes of their respective shows, and both points are even synced and occur at the same run time of each episode, down to the second. The effort and time that they put into the MCU to have everything intertwine to the extent that everything goes is just so crazy. It's the first of its kind in cinema, and it just keeps getting more insane with each new movie or series. They could literally keep this up forever, to where 20-30 plus years down the line they are still cranking them out, and I would still watch every single thing with fevered excitement lol. My only worry is that I will die while it's still going, and ill miss out on any installments released after I'm gone lol
I realize that the extreme branching on lamentis was due to them about to die, not love. If the lokis are responsible for creating immortus, then if they died on lamentis, that would not create immortus. That is the big branch. After all the TVA at that time only cared about immortus sacred timeline and nexus events that would harm it. Especially since, they got close on many other occasions and didn't branch.
I think the “See you soon” means that his other versions are coming. I also think that there’s not meant to be any Variants, the TVA has been shutting them down, but without Kang then the timelines aren’t being trimmed down anymore and that results in evil Kangs
I really like your miss minutes theory. A hidden Kang makes a lot of sense. Could also be “future” Slyvie, realizing her mistake and trying to correct it, while basically “off the board” as it appears to be
Kintsugi, also known as kintsukuroi, is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-e technique.
So it’s a loop? It makes perfect sense for this to be a loop. Because all the events of episode 6 happened *outside of space and time*, meaning traditional time logic does not apply. The catalyst for the loop happened OUTSIDE of space and time, that essentially proves it’s a loop. Everything aligns perfectly. He who remains (kang) was killed by sylvie, which caused the timelines to branch into chaos, which then gave birth to the many evil/good Kang’s (he who remains’) and eventually birthed the Kang we saw get killed in episode 6 who would then bring balance back to the timeline. And who would then be killed by sylvie again which would lead to the timelines to branch into chaos and the loop continues. Also, Kang basically confirmed the loop, when he said if he was killed he’d end up right back where he was (“see you soon”). And again, the catalyst occurs outside of space and time (sylvie killing Kang), so there’s no conflict at all within the loop. Such an interesting turn of events, didn’t even see it coming.
I like how it makes total sense that kang wouldn’t stop the two Loki’s from killing him as no matter what they chose that variant of Kang always will come on top and no matter what the TVA will be formed again with the same Kang ruling it.
@@TheBTEAMwins I think what they meant is that in Endgame, the Ancient One explained that all the Infinity Stones had to be returned to their exact point in time and space, and also that you couldn't interfere with the past. We see the Avengers mess up getting the Tesseract the first time, but we find out in Loki: Episode 6 that that was supposed to happen so Loki could meet Kang. A bit of lazy writing, but okay, it gets a pass. But when Captain America goes to return the Infinity Stones, he is supposed to come back. Why? Peggy never saw Steve again up until she was old and dying, she was married to someone else, and if Sharon grew up with Peggy and her family, she would've known that someone else was Peggy's husband. But Steve stays in the past. He chooses to be with Peggy. This creates its own branch...but then *that* Steve ended up back in this branch to give the shield to Falcon. So, in a way, this is a new branch of the timeline, but it still merged enough for old Cap to come back. If Kang really did plan for *that* to happen, then time is just one big knot now. If that wasn't planned, though, then what Kang said about predetermination is wrong, we've always been close to the other multiverses, and personally, I think that makes the threat of Kang coming in different variants a lot more terrifying if *our* Kang was doing everything to hold them at bay.
@@brianapereira2694 afaik it’s not actually confirmed that Peggy was married to someone else. we only ever saw pictures of her with her kids, not including her spouse, and i think she mentions her spouse once but doesn’t name them. the theory being that her husband was actually steve but he was hidden in order to not interfere and create branches. so in that respect it still does make sense probably (i dunno it’s confusing) but with that said i still hate it lol. it was a terrible end to steve’s arc, like for example it implies steve just chilled with peggy for decades **knowing** that bucky was being tortured by hydra the whole time and did nothing, etc
What will really bake your noodle, Loki breaking free with the space stone, making himself a variant and being captured by the TVA, and helping Sylvie reach (and kill) the One Who Remains, is the reason Kang comes here. He was responsible for Thanos - and now he's responsible for Kang.
Lads. The “one” refers to the non local singularity of consciousness... meaning no matter what form or function the energy of the universe takes (me or you) the it is viewed through the same consciousness... basically we’re all the same person and humanity doesn’t know it.... yet 👽👍
Yes, but Ryan just pointed out that instead of the Architect scene in Matrix, think about Willy Wonka. Kang even mimics the Willy Wonka meme in this episode *wink wink*
Time is just a concept and how we explain atoms or objects moving from one place to another in our limited reality created by eyesight. Time doest actually exist and the only possible way to 'time travel' would be to move every atom in the universe to its previous position. While not impossible theoretically the task would be literally astronomical to track every atom. Nevermind move them to the correct position.
What a great ending! But, I was secretly hoping for a show where Mobius and Loki travel through time and solve time crimes/mysteries/ anomalies... guess I'm a time fascist myself! XD
They could probably still do that! Like in order to defeat the multi-villains they have to go undercover into their story to discover crucial clues from their past.
I just thought that explaining the mcu to my friends is already pretty complicated. Now how the f am I going to explain them the multiverse/multiversal wars/the concept of time, and how every character fits into this and why there’s spider-pig all the sudden. Jesus.
This was my immediate thought when I saw it. Maybe Kang's timepad thingie was already set to send Loki to a previous TVA (before the creation of the time keepers, hence Kang's statue) so that he can fix the sacred timeline from there.
@@Victfil I think that Loki was sent to one of the branches in the timeline, the Mobius we know and love is probably in a different timeline and Loki has to somehow find a way to find Mobius or bring the timeline back in a way that allows some free will? That is probably impossible though.
Miss Minutes has talked about her boss being the "Time keepers" and "He who remains". I think the TVA is like an infinite number of repeating copies of the same TVA workers. Every time there's a new timeline, a new copy of the TVA has to be made to police it. There's no way Loki walked all over every floor of the TVA that he could see. The other floors were labeled other things like TSY and TE7 and 372, and then Mobius said "what division are you from?". And then there were all the rings on the wood table that were supposedly all from Mobius. I think there's only 1 TVA, because it's a place outside the multiverse and time, but it has a room or area for each universe in the multiverse, and each branching timeline. I think the Kang statue is just the wrong block in a city.
@@deepsoul7418 I dunno, I'm just spitballing ideas to see what sticks. Maybe I'm totally wrong. Maybe the statue in the TVA is always the previous ruler of the TVA. When Kang killed the time keepers, they became the statues. When Slyvie killed Kang, kang becomes the statue. Or maybe because the TVA is outside time, there's no wait time for corrections in the timeline. If we saw all those kang timelines branching off, as if a bunch of versions of kang are coming to take the throne of he who remains or immortus, then maybe one of the new Kangs already made it to the end and became the new ruler at the end of time, and then that naturally changed the beginning of the TVA. Like maybe whoever ends up sitting in that castle at that end of time, creates a feedback loop of them becoming the new creator of the TVA... It's either that, or we have to assume there's multiple TVA's. Which doesn't really make sense if they are policing the multiverse as a whole. But maybe it's explainable if the space lizards just controlling one large branch, and offer immortus his own branch, but no one is allowed to disrupt the tree trunk itself or the roots, or the other sacred branches. If there's multiple TVA's then how are they in a dimension that's beyond time? How many pocket dimensions are there? Why aren't the TVA's competing with each other?
The golden cracks in the castle at the end of time are very likely a reference to Japanese art of Kintsugi (金継ぎ), which itself refers to Mushin (無心) philosophy. One way to say that any branches (cracks) are in the end all parts of the same reality, and that fate is predetermined.
Loki most likely ended up in a variant timeline where it was known that Immortus/Kang controlled the TVA instead of the lie about the Space Liza... I mean Time Keepers.

My interpretation wasn’t that “He Who Remains” won the multiverse war, but instead found a way to shield this timeline from the others (that ring around him in the claymation reenactment). His death re-exposes it to the other multiverses, especially the one Kang The Conquerer (evil version) rules over. That’s where I think Sylvie sent Loki to - the mirror universe, where everyone has goatees and is evil. 😂 I’m excited tho, this totally makes sense going forwards (or, sideways?) in the MCU. With the next Spider-Man, Ant-Man and Doctor Strange movies all being about the multiverse, this will be the big thing in phase 4. That will bring us, finally, some good movies about the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. All things are as they should be. All is right with the world.

I also assume now that MCU has almost every single IP rights back, they will give us even more of what we want in future movies.
Bro here’s my theory about miss minute:
Miss minutes is actually Ravana renslayer.. in comics she was kang’s girlfriend and (as she cannot live forever), so in MCU kang transferred her conscious into miss minutes..

Did anyone else notice that while Loki is running through the archives, his movements aren't really fluid like he doesn't appear from behind the next shelf exactly when he should if it was one fluid motion.. I think that part symbolizes him running through the TVA while many different branches are being created, finally landing him in the one where Mobius doesn't know him
I thought that same thing. Disjointed. Stuttering.
That's the first thing I noticed when I watched the episode, because I'm spoiled by film making usually a camera passing through objects hide hidden cuts and I noticed every time it passed a bookshelf, Lokis movement changed. One he was walking, then running, then walking confused, then walking again
Almost like the timelines kept resetting until settling on the one that would be the most distressing to Loki. 😕
Yes. That has got to be a nudge.
I thought my eyes were messing with me lmfao
What if Sylvie and Loki's nexus event in Lamentis was actually "dying" in the apocalypse? If they died, no one would get to Immortus (He who remained) and kill him and the Multiversal War could not have happened, so this means that it was all supposed to happen.
but then they would've detected after their deaths and i know they could've detected it afetr their deaths and jsut got to them a bit earlier in time to save them, but the way it was portrait it looked like it was the romance between them that caused the branch
So they actually died and in reality they never walked in that portal to the tva?????

Ya this phase is gonna be massive. Imagine a huge endgame-style battle with all of the parallel universe heroes of the MCU fighting an army of Kangs and brainwashed TVA agents. Gonna be insane.
mcu is just on another level
No more mutants
Lokis we saw are not like Peter Parkers, they are truly one person from one universe, while Peter Parkers are from different universes, "Spiderman" being a concept that ties them, they just happen to be named Peter Parker with similar but still different faiths and origins (because in infinite number of universes there eventually will be a few individuals named "Peter Parker" who also are "Spiderman")
So, Sylvie killing Kang unleashed the Multiverse, opening our previously isolated Sacred Timeline to infinite other universes.
Then it's also another universe bc in our Loki timeline Loki is mostly male (I mean we don't know whether he was a female but it was a short period of time cause apparently no one noticed)
Or these events (changing gender and telling about adoption) should have breached timeline not the dreaming of becoming a hero.
(i used "he" pronounce for loki for easier grammar and communication)
For Sylvie to be from another universe just doesn't make any sense.
It’s crazy to believe that Endgame was merely the tip of the iceberg
That means the RAT in EndGame is a VARIANT placed there by KANG in order to create all the events we know so we could have the multiverse lol 😆
So you’re telling me he planned EVERYTHING in the entire multiverse ??
@@fanoos3373 Him not seeing time the same way and being able to manipulate it is kind of like when you complete those labirynthe on the back of the cereal box by starting by looking the end and making your way to the begining. He didn't have to manipulate anything exept suttle changes maybe but he just looked at the road with the ending that suits him, being the one with the lokis in front of him with the choice they have to make, and cut the branches that don't benefit in any of it. That's also why he can't know what happened next, because he started by the end being the two lokis on the chair having to make a choice. That's also why that moment is the treshold. Kang told Loki and Sylvie that he had paved the path for them which they followed to meet him(Kang).
Thor from our timeline will reunite with our Loki when Kang is defeated. Loki predicted this in infinity war.
“I assure you…then sun shall shine on us again…”
Ooooh, can't wait to see that!😁
Reunite yes but hopefully not for good. Loki sees his brother and Thor gets to see the potential Loki always had. Imagine this variant Loki gets to go back to his timelines Thor. How confused everyone would be at that character development I definitely would love to see that.

It makes sense that miss minutes is being controlled by someone else since Kang was surprised that miss minutes still has a nickname for him, but also would mean that whoever is controlling miss minutes is afraid of Loki because she offers a deal if they drop it all.
Seeing "Kang" as a kind of lunatic will make him totally dope as the villian in AM&TWQ!🤩
I don't think Kang I'm Quantumania will be like this. He was this manic because this version was million s if not billions of years old. He's been by himself trying to keep things from going awry.

I think another thing that I found interesting was Loki saying that Kang was terrifying. Up into that point I didn't pick up on the fact that Loki was scared. But I did notice how quiet he was, he paid attention to everything kang for saying. But when he started talking to Mobius you can really hear the fear.

Speaking of loops, season 2 will begin with Loki and Mobius getting to know each other again.
Maybe that’s how the Jet-ski comes in. Loki proved Mobius once again that events were not as they seemed by revealing his love for Jet-Ski
Whatever happens, the new Dr. Strange movie has the potencial to be fucking good.
I also think that there’s not meant to be any Variants, the TVA has been shutting them down, but without Kang then the timelines aren’t being trimmed down anymore and that results in evil Kangs
everything you just said is in the video
I agree with you
everything you just said is said explicitly in the episode

He isn't Immortus. He really is "He who Remains." A completely unique Kang. A light and brutally honest take on the character that fits with Loki.
Also, miss minutes tried pulling a matrix card on the loki's lol

I really like your miss minutes theory. A hidden Kang makes a lot of sense. Could also be “future” Slyvie, realizing her mistake and trying to correct it, while basically “off the board” as it appears to be

The Man in the High Castle
Such an interesting turn of events, didn’t even see it coming.
makes me feel like the whole ben10
I like how it makes total sense that kang wouldn’t stop the two Loki’s from killing him as no matter what they chose that variant of Kang always will come on top and no matter what the TVA will be formed again with the same Kang ruling it.

@@annedrieck7316 a bit late… but: Dr.
The chills I got through my body when Mobius didn’t recognize him 😱
i have a feeling cap's mission to return the infinity stones has something to do with everything that's about to transpire in the MCU
Explain plz
I can't believe more people aren't making The Matrix comparisons to this series. Loki is Neo, the anomaly that resets time again and again...
It was "the one" that reset the Matrix over and over. Neo was "something new" that ended the Matrix.

Quantum theory is the new time travel. It’s been in like multiple shows and movies recently lol very cool. (DEVS, ant man, lovecraft, watchmen, etc)

This episode blew my mind. What if Sylvie sent Loki back to the TVA in the past, a previous iteration of the TVA, perhaps?
@@r2dxhate Ok You maybe onto something right here, I'm listening!
“He Who Remains”. Hm, the Lokis’ defining characteristic after being pruned is that they survive. Curious if that’s in the middle of this knot.
Ikr? Just like the ending of Dark.
The golden cracks in the castle at the end of time are very likely a reference to Japanese art of Kintsugi (金継ぎ), which itself refers to Mushin (無心) philosophy.
One way to say that any branches (cracks) are in the end all parts of the same reality, and that fate is predetermined.
You did this before these movies even came out and called it perfectly
