Did a twice smoked spiral cut ham last year. My glaze was 1/2 cup Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce by Blues Hog and a 1/2 cup of apple jelly. Smoked it with some cherry. Turned out very good.
Hey Alton !.... just like granny use to make thats a classic right there . Thanks for sharing my brother. You and the family have a great rest of the week and stay safe. Cheers
We saw your posting for this on Instagram and we had to come watch right away. Your glaze recipe is excellent and the finished ham looks amazing. We love the cherries and pineapple rings!
Yo Notification Squad! That looked awesome Dawg! 👊🏼 I’m planning a similar smoke for the holidays this year, thanks for ‘da motivation to get the content up early! Keep crushing it 🔥💨
How can you smoke ham on pitboss 3series electric smoker 30inch use small wood chips do you need put it on lower temperature or medium temperature or higher
Hey G'day from Australia, That ham looks the bomb we are going to do one tomorrow arvo on the Weber kettle and see how it goes, love all your recipes and the way you explain how to do them, stay safe in 2021, catch ya Frank @stardust drive in theatre Ayr
This can be done on any grill that the ham can fit in. Just set up your kettle for indirect cooking meaning coals on the opposite side of the ham. No lit coals should be under your ham. Length of time will depend on how cold your ham is when you put it on. Typically it should be about an hour and a half to two hours if rolling at 275 degrees F for me. Hopefully that helps. Remember, these hams are typically already cooked. You are simply warming them back up to 140 degrees F internal while giving a little more smoke flavor to it. Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting.
So how long does it take to smoke it to temp. Really want to try this the pineapple and cherry is old school like my dad did it but he only didn't in a oven Really want to try this smoke wat just not sure how much time to allow. Mahalo.
Always keeping it real Dawg! Simple, tasty, to the point and on point! 🍖 Totally off topic, you know what I would think would be hilarious? Do a vid on making cupcakes. People tuning in would be like wtf? And then they would do them on the grill and say ..da bomb . Smoked cup cakes lol 😆
Great video. I’ll give this a try sometime soon for sure. But let’s back up to your peach cobbler video. Man I think my girl wants to get married now that she saw those skills yesterday. Lmao will you consider doing an updated cobbler video or maybe apple pie from scratch video?

@@nxglue2275 Think about where you're posting. Is this a slow cooker channel? No. It's a BARBECUE channel. Maybe look for Nancy's Crockpot Connections or some shit like that. I can easily tell you how to do pulled pork on a kettle grill, hell, I'd even link you to a whole series of videos that got me started. But a slow cooker? The answers you seek ARE NOT HERE. Slow cooker? Wrong channel, bud. Sorry, not sorry.
Ya, cuz one way of cooking is only way? Blind asf. Not your bud, guy.

Guess I could use liquid smoke lol. Hmm where my comments going... guess someone needs a win so they can feel good about themselves selfs. O well
If I’m cooking a 20-23 pound ham how long should I leave it cooking , what temp should I run …
Ps I’m smoking it with wood pallets …
I'm here 🔥
How long does it smoke ?
Until internal temp of ham is 140 no more than 145
Masaknya sampe kedalam...
What type of temp probe are you using?
I radically use Thermopro or Thermapens... Thermopro is very reasonable in price too.
Does it taste as dry as it looks?
Hahaha!!! Hilarious.
@@TheDawgfathasBBQ had to say it the video says otherwise so you are able keep it moist?
The ham was actually really moist. Maybe the video didn't show it as well to you?
@@TheDawgfathasBBQ just use to seeing your bbq vids dripping out juices, this one not so much.
That bad boy will make some good sandwiches later on!
Bro keep it up live u show
