If you're speaking about people in power positions, then I agree. If you're speaking about cultural groups I would add that these days things are so acidic a person really can't criticize any group without significant blowback. White Christian men are the one group that gets it from all sides and that's saying something. Perhaps it's warranted in many cases, not in others. As a white, Christian male myself I don't mind fair criticism since I did so myself and I think it should lead to honest discussions about these subjects but it won't if people can't face truths without popping their noggin.

As a previous homeowner in Bronx, I remarked to my association that drugs were being sold on the corner.
My association president informed me that it is the politicians who bring drugs into the country.
There are people that actually need some of these medications. It’s sad that they get refused or judged because of the junkies.I’m not talking about fentanyl.
No one needs heroin or meth or cocaine. Recreational drugs are not necessary. They're recreational.
It's true that some addicts are self medicating for other conditions. But there are legal alternatives to treat those conditions.

@@lisabarker5955 agreed. I just had my 5th baby and the pain gets worse the more you have. They wanted to give me Tylenol for the pain and call it good. I had to fight to get something more! I asked for Norco and they said no, they'd give me oxy. In the end a good Dr came in and was willing to work with me. It's crazy because I didn't want anything to take home, I know I need something for the first 24 hours after birth and I'm good. But to make it a fight for a just delivered mom? It's insane.

As a chronic pain sufferer, I lost the only thing that allowed me to function. Morphine sulfate-15 mg twice daily for 16 years. Not once did I ask for a higher dose nor did I take one pill more than prescribed by a pain clinic. The last 7 years have been terrifying. I’m literally in tears and trembling with agonizing pain daily. I have thought about suicide (how, when and where. I know why). My condition is hopeless and worst of all UNfatal. I could live another 15-20 years!! Pure hell. I have never smoked or even had alcohol, yet “well meaning “ but ignorant politicians have decided that they know better than a physician and his patients- and I will be forced to the street drugs. Tragic. At least I’m old. I can’t bear to think of ALL those who are suffering needlessly! Thanks to Greg. He understands.

Sorry, I don't believe a word you say. You wouldn't consider suicide for seven years or be in "agonizing pain" without just living in the ER. And if the residents of Nogales can cross the border for healthcare, you can too. You don't even need a visa to live without feeling "hopeless"
@@Lybrel If you constantly go to the ER for meds they put your name on a list and just send you away. They consider you a drug addict if you are there for pain meds all the time and can also put you in the psych ward for mental troubles. You just don't know what she's going through. My husband has had similar issues with his arthritis meds. What they give him now is not quite as effective but he can still manage. Not everyone can do that.

Dude, trust me .. Although I'm from Serbi, got hooked on buprenorphine when martial law and lockdowns were introduced in March 2020.. Since then, I haven't bren able tondo anything with my life, like.. In the US, you could getbthe thing prescribed but here, you need to be a heroin addict and undergo a month or so in a psychiatric ward to get it preacribed but I don't want it prescribed since it would mean that it's permanent.. I used to earn about 700usd and one pill is 10usd .. I used to take 2 per day and that's about 600usd per month.. so that sucked.. But all the time I was full of energy, very communicative and great at work, but lft with 100 usd and just making debts and more debt etc ... Now I earn about 600usd and now I'm on half a pill (5 usd - 150 usd per month) so you get it.. In time, you get used to opioides and they just make you function "normally" or even better. When I started tapering off, I started training HIIT and kickboxing so, as I used to be overweigh, then I started taking 2mg for work and I'd take 2mg and go and train like crazy .. got shredded thanks to it, so it cqn be your friend and your worst nightmare, depends if you learn how to control it.. But I never got wasted like these bums in the video. This is really scary.. But, as it's a struggle, i'm tryin and it's going good

The war on drugs has failed and we need to admit that and move on. Our policy should reflect rehabilitation, not stopping the flow, which is impossible.
Yup same here and I am sorry for your loss. I lost my sons father in 2017, then my boyfriend of 5 years in 2019 and 5 good friends in the past 4 years. I seen a lady ,maybe in her 20s, leaning over but never fell over, just stuck in this strange position by the main highway! Sad! I was so wanting to turn back to check on her, before I could decide what to do a patrol car was headed her way. He kept going too. This is awful, we've had over 50 deaths from this crap just in last year or so. All between 17 to 40s, 2 over 50yrs. All died from this crap, no arrest for the dealers that everyone knows being in a small town. I'm sure if we as regular Citizens no who's dealing that the great local police certainly to know all about it. But do nothing. Well wait they've arrested these big dealers early morning few mths ago,only have them bond out by dinner time , back home keeping their customers stocked and happy. What Gets me tho. They put all in local paper like they actually did get them and locked em up , they don't tell the paper they already let em back out !,... Endless cycles

Well fentanyl PATCHES WERE very helpful to someone I know who has chronic pain. Now thanks to the politicians/lawyers she can not get them. Oh but she can get medical marijuana. Which of course the insurance company doesn't pay a nickel. Again I blame the politicians/lawyers.

Drug use is a huge problem that ruins people. Her saying kids just want to do some party drugs....really?! I've personally seen and know people who got hooked on drugs, the drugs became more important than anything else. I've seen them loose their money, their families, their minds........their lives.

That Fox host Kennedy has the same views I believe. Fox has a ton of libertarians on their show and it's unfortunate.

Got an email from my doctor at the VA. He said he forgot to fill my pain script and to “Ask friends or neighbors for opioids”. They didn’t even fire him, just relocated him to Florida. It was 7 years ago but I was addicted for nearly a year and it feels like yesterday.
The Doctors and our Government have WAY more explaining to do than China does.

I remember being prescribed fentanyl when it was the bright, shiny new pain med. When other, proven meds were available and ended up helping more anyway. Frankly I hated even the metered amount side effects much less a street type dose. 🤬

I like Kat, but i think it will take a very close family member to die from an overdose for her to really grasp the issue.
Considering that libertarians only care about what happens to them personally or what could or couldn't personally benefit them, it's rare for them to wake up from the delusions. They'll keep advocating for a worse off society with drugs and hookers and ignore the consequences.
