Soap is salted out for more than just cleaning. Salting out increases the fatty acid content of the soap and removes excess alkali. Thus, we get a high-quality soap in terms of its washing characteristics, which does not need superfat. The process of salting out in our time is also very relevant.

Thus, we get a high-quality soap in terms of its washing characteristics," ... So over all a salted out soap is a much better soap then the cold/hot processed? By salting it out it does removes impurities but it also removes the glycerine, which occurs naturally, which is a humectant ... Would a salted out soap be drying to the skin? 🤔 Thank you! 🙏

to be safe, after you have done the final salting out, you can use only water to melt the soap for one last time. When the neat soap solidify and float to the top, remaining salt should sink to the bottom with water
