Hi Shok, first of all great video as always. I was looking at the matchup tier list and I was wondering why Irelia was so far up. From what I understand of the matchup, it would be categorized with the yasuo/yone kind of high mobility brawly slightly bulkier champs. Why would she be so high up compared to them? Is it due to her better sustain in lane due to q + slightly bulkier so she can 1v1 better?
She can build tenacity really easily from her runes (conq + resolve) and mercs are really good on her too. The 1v1 matchup is also really fked because she has infinite sustain and can easily force out your E with cooldowns that are far shorter than yours
great Video! Any recommendation what champ(s) to pick up as alterenative picks? As in how to properly build a stable champ pool around playing liss much. Thanks!
hmm probably something that can deal with mages since liss will deal with all the melees/assassins. Maybe like an ori or syndra or anti mage assassin like fizz zed etc

Should be a nice buff, W ap ratio is especially nice for making sure you can still 1 shot casters as the game goes on and also for AOE later in teamfights
Im low elo lissandra main. Most of the time I build Either Ludens or Rocketbelt. So many players underestimate her dmg. I just can't relay on my team to build Everfrost.

If they don't buy MR there is no reason to go void staff. On liss particular shadowflame feels terrible. I recommend buying Horizon instead. It's really underrated, but it feels amazing to play with :)
@@ShokLeague I've watched a lot of your videos tbh, but the one about the champion pool and your comments on having counter picks and understanding your matchups helped a lot i think, i only pick pantheon when its a good matchup/need ad but that made it so that i have a 76% winrate out of 26 games! Fizz a similar deal with 67% out of 36 games! Made my climb consistent
Hey Shok. Thanks for another great guide! I have a couple of questions. First, in the section of the guide where you cover roaming options as Liss and you don't really have any good roaming options, you recommend pushing the lane and trying to haress your opponent under tower. When this happens to me, I am usally very hesitant to extend too hard when i don't have info on the enemy jungle and no wards to cover me. If that is the case, do you then just abandon the idea of harassing your opponent under tower completely or do you take the risk of getting ganked relying on your E for escape? The second question i have is in regards to the matchup guide, where you say that Liss isn't great in a draft where your sup and jungle both are "AFK" champs. I that scenario, which midlaners do you think fits the draft the best? I know it's very draft dependant as well, but just as a rule of thump, would you recommend looking for midlaners that like staying in lane a lot like Ori or Syndra?
1. You should be very hard to gank as Liss as long as you have a ward down and hold your E to disengage, this sounds more like a warding/jg tracking problem to me and if you get better at those you should feel more confident pushing. 2. Yeah something self sufficient that scales well e.g. Ori Syndra are options (although be careful if you need a dash) or champs like Azir, Lux. Tbh champs like Ahri/Liss can be okay with AFK jg/supp champs, it's just that they won't be ok if you have a bad matchup and need jg attention to help win it.
Cheap shot better for scaling, but the reason you're taking taste of blood is to make your first 1-2 backs better. After that it's pretty useless. So it just depends if you find value in those early levels having more hp

Comet was better a lot of the time prenerf, I think now though comet isn't really worth taking anymore
For most of the champ guides, the hard matchups have alot of common champions like Viktor, Anivia, Syndra and Lux what do I counter pick against them?
Either gank setup assassins like Fizz, LB, Irelia or anti mage champs like Syndra, Ori, Viktor. Kassadin can work too

I think W max for the root duration is still better, I might do a Neeko guide but I'm not that good at her tbh

Evelynn is my go to ban atm for any champ, I think if I mained Lissandra I'd probably ban Orianna at the moment

Many players say that taste of blood is a terrible rune. Working only for 5min straight. Isnt cheap shot a better choice ?
