I rarely find foundations that truly match my undertone! For the first time in years I’ve found three foundations that actually look natural on my skin: Pat Mcgrath’s foundation in 21 medium, which has olive undertones; NARS Soft Matte in Tahoe; and Sephora Best Skin Ever in 35N 🤷🏽♀️
After years and years believing I had a yellow undertone....the fenty foundation in 330 did not match me at yellow it was very very yellow but looked orange on me and that was when I realized I was not yellow but olive. Maybelline superstay 332 is my perfect undertone olive neutral but as I have gotten lighter I have to find a temp replacement I don't want to mix foundations... I need help !

@@leesepat5243 In Fenty’s original foundation I’m 360. I base all of my foundation shades off of Fenty on the Sephora foundation shade finder and so far it’s been right on the money! I’m also 8.75 in Georgia Armani Luminous Silk. Hope this helps! I’ve learned that I have olive, golden, neutral undertones!

All very well - I get the yellow/red thing but you have completely ignored those of us with olive (green!) undertones!
I allways struggled with the right colour for me until I watched this video. Thanks so much! No fails anymore for me, just need both tones and mix them. It works!!!
And forgot: I had the same struggles with my eyeshadows. Tested a red- and a yellow (liquid) and had the perfect colour!

I was at Sephora's in Strasbourg (next from my home in germany). The lady who I asked just needed one try to find the perfect foundation for me (I wanted the best skin ever from Sephora). I used this foundation now for a few days and I'm absolutly happy with it.

Don't we check undertones by looking at the veins of the person. Green, Green +purple n Purple..Warm, Neutral n Cool. Guessing is too difficult 😕

I am 1R07. When I look at foundation matches on Sephora… they make no sense. Some are on the light end of the spectrum (Dior) and others I would never choose because they seem so dark (Nars).
This was so confusing. Firstly, the foundation Iq on sephora is not accurate. Most of the foundations I wear is aLways smack in the middle between fair and dark. I've always been told I'm warm with yellow undertone....so why are u guys changing it up now? And why not have women of different ethnicities there..I'm of east Indian heritage but im not olive tone...for us brown and black ppl its always difficult to find our true foundation, this just makes it worse!
