So glad someone else felt this way too. That one actually made me angry to watch. The way he told him not to wave his arms around was so petty and condescending. Definitely not the way to maintain the respect of another man you have to reprimand.
It has and hasn’t it depends on the teams playing example Melbourne wouldn’t even get a sin bin cause they’ll just say it’s accidental we’ll as of it was a team like knights or something they’d deffo be sent off
The only people thinking the game has gone soft are fat couch potatoes that probably haven't experienced physical exercise in 20 years. It's still an incredibly rough sport.
I'd like to thank u guys @the greatest game of all. I fell out of love with umpiring netball at any level. After watching this & the refs, it gave me that spark to go back not just locally & umpire Div 1 but to go back to umpire at state level too!.... I like to be in control also i don't take crap on the sideline or court so Ta again!
Brilliant video, anyone complaining about red cards for high tackles after watching this beautiful episode of 20 minutes of potentially life changing incidents of whiplash and severe concussions, must have taken a few too many of those hits themselves.
Honestly surprised Hargreaves didn’t get sent off in 2019 when he hit Liam Knight. He didn’t even get suspended for the incident either. Absolute madness and protected species
Interesting video, one clear takeaway, there’s probably at least 5 incidents in the early 2000’s worse than anything from 2010 to now. So clearly they’ve been successful in cleaning up the game
A few hard brutal sent off tackles. Was amazing to see. I love the game rugby league more than rugby union. This game has so much action and fun. Thank you!
Agree. Union is a snooze fest with all the stoppages and 3pt field goals and penalty goals, should make them 1 or 2 pts like league and it would make teams play more aggressive running the footy
I feel like Chad Townsend should be higher up not only did he collect ponga high it was a reasonable amount of time after the referee stopped play due to offside players
Yeah that was a pretty poor act from Fittler, And i hate flops/dives in all sports but I understand tho cause it’s gamesmanship tactics from the players & coaches.
Great video mate, could I make a suggestion that you don't use still images at the start? Maybe some overlay of games instead? Just a little jarring and I nearly turned it off because I thought it was just going to be stills. Otherwise, Great job :)
That Ben Ross Brett white one was crazyyyy That Chad thounsend on Kalyan was funny The one on Paps really made his I’ll it was scary Battle of Brookie …still makes me smh Still can’t believe Isiaia soloiola didn’t get sent off for his tackle that knocked out Billy Slater
Isn't amazing how many ''bad boys'' end up in the Super League in the UK and France? Great video, and just subscribed of this content. Totally prefer NRL, over Super League, especially the 'State of Origin'. I don't think England/British Lions would win a test series against Queensland or NSW.
Hey Buddy! Can you please make a video of all the Rugby League rules and how any person who is new to the game can follow it? Thank will be greatly appreciated because there is a few people I want to get into the game so showing them a video will go a long way! Thanks!
I reckon the cops should get involved in a lot of those head shots. Also, there should be a minimum 1 year suspension for forceful contact to the head. People will cry that the shots are accidental and it's unfair etc, but magically, the head shots would disappear from the game.
When is more sent off 2022 - 2023 Jacob Saifiti, Nathan x 2, Thomas Burgess, James, Moeaki Fotuaika, Jarrod Wallace, David Clammer, Brian Kelly, Taane, Francis Molo, Brent Naden
In a Storm supporter and Danny Williams coward punching Mark O’Neal was disgraceful, yeah O’Neal was high but still it was and possibly the most horrific act in the NRL, I’m glad he got sacked
I think you missed a little bit of a harsh send off which was I think it was either sam thaiday or Jack reed against the dragons in 2013 for not being 10 meters back
8:07 was real harsh he barely hit him high but sadly this tackle was the reason the refs won’t using the send off much in 2010s By the way does anyone remember when Wade McKinnon got sent off because the ref hated him back on 2007 vs tigers now that is the softest send off ever
too often ref get on a power trip and let the emotion get to their heads. That Peachy one is a classic situation of a Captain making a case and the ref not willing to listen cos.."im the boss" attitude.
Geez, that hit from Williams in 04 is beyond cowardice, full swing to a blokes head who isn't even looking, anyone know what repercussions came of that?
I'm a Sharks fan, but holy fuck did you downplay Chad Townsend's send off and rank it incredibly low. I was expecting it to be near the top of the brutality end. The ref had called time off moments before, leaving Ponga to stop running and relax his body. Chad then left the ground and shoulder charged him in the head. That's like 4 sin binnable offences in one action.
Yes but there is exaggerating contact a little and playing for penalties and then there is just jumping without being touched pretending he has just punched you
The JWH one in 2013 is soft for the 4th worst, come on now. He got 5 weeks because of a bad record not because the tackle was bad, he was charged with a grade 1 reckless that only carried a 2 week penalty.
Here after there were even more send offs in the 2022 season. Brent Naden (Wk 14), Jarrod Wallace (Wk 16), David Klemmer (Wk 17) Nathan Cleary (Wk 20), Thomas Burgess (Wk 20) James Tamou (Wk 23), Francis Molo (Wk 23), Brian Kelly (Wk 24) and Taane Milne (Second Preliminary Final).
Where do you think there would ranked I think they would be ranked like this James Tamou 34 David Klemmer 32 Tom Burgress 27 Jarrod Wallace 25 Brian Kelly 18 Brent Naden 15 Nathan Cleary 14 Francis Molo 12 Tiane Mille 3
jeez the david peachy one was harsh. he sounded very well mannered, giving a good account of himself
Shayne Hayne lost control of that game. The Dale Newton tackle wasn't even close to a send off.
S Hayne ref guaranteed Sharks loss
This game is renowned for Shayne Hayne losing the plot, the score ended up 74-4 at one point sharks were down to 10 men
Shayne Hayne could have done with some cultural sensitivity training. Did he have any mission manager relos in his family tree?
So glad someone else felt this way too. That one actually made me angry to watch. The way he told him not to wave his arms around was so petty and condescending. Definitely not the way to maintain the respect of another man you have to reprimand.
I do really appreciate the close to 10 minutes of just early 2000’s send offs
2:32 what did ref say to Ben walker
Some of those old send offs for high tackles would be controversial sin bins nowadays - the game clearly hasn’t gone soft
ikr, some of these 'analysts'/commentators talk about it like you had to put someone in the ER to get set off back then
It has and hasn’t it depends on the teams playing example Melbourne wouldn’t even get a sin bin cause they’ll just say it’s accidental we’ll as of it was a team like knights or something they’d deffo be sent off
Then again my point for going soft makes no sense
The only people thinking the game has gone soft are fat couch potatoes that probably haven't experienced physical exercise in 20 years. It's still an incredibly rough sport.
18:04 The commentary for Peteros hit. 😂🤣😂
“Ohhh!”
“Ohhhh!”
“Ohhhhh!”
I think it being the 5th worst one is too harsh should switch places with kade Snowden
Mitch Barnett single handedly ended the knights season with that elbow
Are Knights a one man team?
@@kers225abk2 nah but for some reason they were going really well in the season, then after this game they’ve lost 5 in a row and are on the bottom
Na, pong-a is having a great crack at it
They fell off a cliff afterwards thats for sure.
7 in a row
Coming back here after Cleary send off last night. One of the most enjoyable moments to be at live, and the crowd was insane.
Another fantastic video mate. Keep up the good work youre a real positive mark on Rugby League with your content. Good stuff.
This channel is so under rated. Love your content man, keep it up
Great job as usual.good job
Your best compilation yet. Thanks for the effort to get all the pre 2010 footage.
Surprised he didn’t get the Wade McKinnon or though I don’t blame him since he did nothing
Best send off video I’ve seen and really good quality for the older videos.👍
Great video glad I found this channel, subbed and liked thanks
Awesome video again mate. This definitely would've taken a while to make
Amazing content mate
you managed to compile some old ones mate, well done
i enjoyed the first half with just pure send offs. real good.
Just want to say thanks for your effort. Good watch on days with no footy on
This just confirms Hopoate as one of the dirtiest, grubbiest players ever to play
*The grubbiest player to ever play

You missed the Tupou tackle on Ravalawa! Oh, wait, I forgot Tupou plays for the Roosters...
I really wish this showed the actual send offs. Good video regardless.
I feel like Chad Townsend should be higher up not only did he collect ponga high it was a reasonable amount of time after the referee stopped play due to offside players
must say I lost a bit of respect for Freddy after seeing him take that cowardly dive
Yeah that was a pretty poor act from Fittler,
And i hate flops/dives in all sports but I understand tho cause it’s gamesmanship tactics from the players & coaches.
That Peachy send off just reminds me the NRL has had the worst and most inconsistent referring in any professional sport I’ve ever watched.

now people can't use the " back in my day " argument. tackles like this have always been a send off. stop pretending otherwise.
Honestly, some of these tackles are barely a penalty these days.

I want to see a video showing all nrl Players who had their Careers ended by Injury like Alex McKinnon and Jaral Yeo-yeh
"Due to lack of footage"
Then plays 100 send offs prior to 2010 hahahaha still a cracka vid
On the Minicello send off he has jumped so high his feet at are at Duggan’s knees as he attempts the tackle.
And they're saying it's the wrong call and it's to harsh to send Kennedy off for the clothesline on walsh, been a send off for over 20 years
I think people were just more pissed off that Tupou wasn't sent off for doing the exact same thing the week before.
@@baaron7 agreed
Fitler was sent off for a dive?!? Why the fuck isn’t that happening more in this day and age.
Pretty sure the Chad Townsend one play had been called off too, that’s why the ref has his arms up, and why Kayln is pulling up
Phil Sigsworth was sent off in the "86 GF for trying to take off Brett Kennys head. Was big because Parra won 4-2
16:31 this was during round 17 in 2019
The Chad Townsend send off wasn't just high, he also jumped into the takle and was a blatant shoulder charge to Kalyn.
Headbutting Aaron Woods should deserve a bonus
That Kevin Proctor one was harsh. Shaun Johnson had his arm in his mouth. What did he expect would happen? It was a freak accident.
Will Kennedy has been suspended for 4 weeks only having served 2 of them so far. Ramien suspended for 3 from the same match
Bring back the biff
absolutely sort a few show ponies out
By sheer coincidence I clicked this vid and sheer coincidence I tell you I'm wearing a Bring back the biff shirt right now
Naden's lifting tackle this weekend would have made this list, surely.
And wallace

Fun video... Petro Civinocevas send off... listen to the commentators... ooooh.... harmony oooooh....oooooh. 18minutes in.... oooooooooh.
The Adrian Morley one had me busting a gut. There was no need, he just runs up and knees a bloke lol
You should rate the world club challenge
Fuji mayono did not even try to get Melbournes full back he just fell into his arm
Some of these are so soft compared to soliolas hit on billy slater which only got put on report 😂
Billy deserves it
Absolutely. Great point

Where would Nathan Cleary rank on this list?
As a Broncos fan I completely forgot the Kobe Havington got sent off last year.
Danny Williams should have got a thousand weeks

I was there for fuimaono on papenhuysen... Still don't think it was a bad tackle
Where does Brent naden send off come
Honest question, not a piss take, how is rugby in general going with players suing because of CTE injury? Cause it is happening in the AFL now.
Type it into Google then mate you’re half way there
