    I’m a Yankee fan and I can’t just forget what he did for our organization in the one year he was with us. He literally sent us to the WS for the first time since 2009.
    I’m bummed he’s not staying with the Yankees but I’m not going to hate on him like most Yankees fans. I’ll be rooting for him for the rest of his career (except when he’s playing against us)

      @@cmk921I think he was interested in a team that wanted to grow into a dynasty and improve. The Yankees didn’t have much wiggle room if they were to sign Soto, so it would have been a revisit to last season. I think people are loving this moment to paint this kid in a negative light.

    Yankee fan since 1990, not mad at Soto, just annoyed at Mets fans who I know calling the Yankees 'little bro' I told them when they win a World Series this century and then about 24 more then they can puff out their chest, also, hope he improves defensively because he'll be your version of Stanton, a very well paid DH and don't even get me started on you guys signing cardiac Clay..to start😂😅

    • @neorock6135
      @neorock6135 День тому

      You think Stearn is an imbecile & just wants to throw money away signing Clay Holmes... we can sign Soto but we can't afford elite pitchers? 🤣😂 Reason we signed Clay is Stearns has built a system here & that same lab Clay will get the benefits of got an amazing year from Severino, another former Yankee.
      And the lil bro comments - you are right, we have to win first. But those comments also have to do with the seismic shift of Cohen now being the new George. For years we saw George get the top free agents for the Yankees, home grown stars of other teams....all with the power of money. We and most other teams couldn't compete with George when he would open his check book. Now the shoe is on the other foot! Y'all have to worry about Cohen doing that as...
      NET WORTH-
      Hal Streinbrenner: ~$2 bil
      Steve Cohen: $21 bil

    Juan Soto is the most overrated player ever, a one dimentional with no speed or defense, he has no range in the outfield with no arm and a terrible baserunner, highly doupt if Soto is really 26 ( looks more like 46 and runs like a senior elder) and will distrup the chemistry of the team with his sour attitude.

    • @Xenlacasa45
      @Xenlacasa45 День тому +1

      That's just your opinion calm down the team will love him. Soto can hit this is the majors they get paid to hit. If he could run and play defense but couldn't hit he be wouldn't be worth anything

    • @cmk921
      @cmk921 День тому +3

      I partially agree. He’s a three tool (out of the standard five) player. He does have a good arm, but his base running is below average and his fielding is cringe inducing. His skill as a hitter is off the charts, though. Is he worth more than Ohtani or double what Judge is getting? Absolutely not. I wonder how well he’s going to stay in shape, as he’s already looking Bartolo Colon-ish. After the past few weeks, I have some serious questions about his character too. I think he’ll fit in perfectly on his new team.

    • @Jqueens93
