Hey , you can dry the flowers with the help of direct sunlight for a few days ...and you can press them too...but you need to press it for around 8 to 10 days...same goes with silica gel..
For this problem, you can work in 2 layers...after the first layer is dried, you can stick the photo with some glue..and then pour the second layer on top of it ..to avoid the photo coming up..

3:1 ratio is basically made for resin which is meant to be pour in moulds....i.e for casting...so it is preferable to use 3:1 ratio resin for casting..you can also .... sometimes use 2:1 ratio ...bt not for very deep casting...2:1 ratio is usually just for coating..so use 3:1 ratio for casting (i.e in silicon moulds or bezels and all) and use 2:1 ratio for coating (i.e for upper coat or to pour on top of mdf and all)... Mam..How much inch the heart shape mould is
Heart mould is of 6 inches
Hi, can we cover artificial jewellery with resin
Yes you can use it ...but you need to prepare the artificial jewellery first ..prepare means you have to take measures so that any kind of chemical reaction is avoided between the resin and the artificial jewellery..
Can we measure without weight machine sister ??!
No...like for a small quantity maybe it's ok...but not for frames and other large resin products...it is not advisable to do so...l have never tried without a weighing machine
Did you laminate the photo?
Yes l did
Which type of photo did you use ?
I used normal colour print with lamination
Is it compulsory to take 3:1 ratio only?
3:1 ratio is basically made for resin which is meant to be pour in moulds....i.e for casting...so it is preferable to use 3:1 ratio resin for casting..you can also .... sometimes use 2:1 ratio ...bt not for very deep casting...2:1 ratio is usually just for coating..so use 3:1 ratio for casting (i.e in silicon moulds or bezels and all) and use 2:1 ratio for coating (i.e for upper coat or to pour on top of mdf and all)... Hope this helps 😊
There is 1:1 also. It also works well with molds.
@@shovanabajracharya I have never personally tried 1:1 ratio bt yes it does work 👍

@@art_incarnation_ How did you you divide the 80 gms into 60 gms resin & 20 gms hardener? in the first frame.
@@miho_abueva The resin that l worked with was of 3:1 ratio . Total l took 80 gms , so according to the 3:1 ratio it will be 3 parts of resin i.e 60 gms of resin & 20 gms of hardener.
@@art_incarnation_ oh thanks. How to know what ratio to use in the mold?
@@miho_abueva For casting in a mould use 3:1 ratio resin & for coating use 2:1 ratio
What is the depth of this mould
The heart mould depth is 8mm and the depth of agate Circle mould is 6mm
You laminate tha photo before put it in resin please reply???
Yes ...I laminated the photo before putting it in resin
Its compulsory to measure in ratio 3:1, is this ok with then use in ratio 2:1
You need to measure properly even if it is not 3:1 ratio resin...and for casting 3:1 resin is preferred to use whereas for coating 2:1 resin is used mostly..

This happens when there is still moisture left in the flower.. before putting the flowers in resin make sure to dry the flowers completely..you can dey the flowers with the help of silica gel for 8 to 10 days or keep it in the book for 8 to 10 days...
